جدد رئيس مجلس الوزراء المصري مصطفى مدبولي، التأكيد على موقف مصر الثابت والرافض للانتهاكات الإسرائيلية المتكررة للأراضي اللبنانية واحتلال أجزاء من الجنوب.
وقف الأعمال العدائية
ودعا إسرائيل إلى الانسحاب الفوري وغير المشروط من كامل الأراضي اللبنانية، واحترام اتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية، وتنفيذ قرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، مؤكداً استمرار دعم مصر لاستقرار لبنان ووحدته الوطنية في مختلف المجالات.
وأعرب مدبولي خلال مباحثات مع نظيره اللبناني نواف سلام، في بيروت اليوم (الجمعة)، عن دعم مصر الكامل لجهود الحكومة اللبنانية الرامية إلى بسط سيطرة الدولة على كامل أراضيها، مشيداً بالخطوات التي تتخذها لتحقيق الاستقرار وصون السلم الأهلي واستعادة فاعلية مؤسسات الدولة، وفي مقدمتها الجيش اللبناني، وتمكينه من بسط سيطرته على جميع الأراضي اللبنانية.
ركيزة أساسية للاستقرار
ونوه رئيس الحكومة المصرية بالجهود التي يبذلها الجيش اللبناني ضمن «نهج متدرج ورؤية وطنية شاملة تحفظ وحدة لبنان وتماسكه، استناداً إلى اتفاق الطائف والقرارات الدولية ذات الصلة»، مؤكداً أن الدولة القوية والشرعية الجامعة تشكلان الضمانة الأساسية للاستقرار.
وقال إن مصر تنظر إلى لبنان باعتباره ركيزة أساسية للاستقرار في المشرق العربي، مؤكداً استمرار المساعي المصرية لينأى لبنان عن أي تصعيد.
التعاون في ملفات حيوية
من جانبه، قال رئيس وزراء لبنان إنه بحث مع نظيره المصري أولويات التعاون في عدد من الملفات الحيوية، مع التشديد على ضرورة متابعة ما تم الاتفاق عليه، واصفاً العلاقة بين لبنان ومصر بأنها أكثر من تبادل مصالح، بل تاريخ مشترك يُراد حمله إلى المستقبل.
ونوّه باهتمام مدبولي بلقاء الهيئات الاقتصادية، في إطار تعزيز التعاون بين القطاعين المصري واللبناني،لافتاإلى دور مصر في العمل على إنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في جنوب لبنان، ووقف الأعمال العدائية الإسرائيلية المستمرة، والافراج عن الأسرى.
The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt's firm stance against the repeated Israeli violations of Lebanese territory and the occupation of parts of the south.
Ceasefire
He called on Israel to withdraw immediately and unconditionally from all Lebanese territories, to respect the ceasefire agreement, and to implement the relevant Security Council resolutions, emphasizing Egypt's continued support for Lebanon's stability and national unity in various fields.
During talks with his Lebanese counterpart Nawaf Salam in Beirut today (Friday), Madbouly expressed Egypt's full support for the Lebanese government's efforts to assert state control over all its territories, praising the steps being taken to achieve stability, preserve civil peace, and restore the effectiveness of state institutions, foremost among them the Lebanese army, enabling it to assert its control over all Lebanese territories.
A Fundamental Pillar for Stability
The Egyptian Prime Minister noted the efforts made by the Lebanese army within a "gradual approach and a comprehensive national vision that preserves Lebanon's unity and cohesion, based on the Taif Agreement and the relevant international resolutions," affirming that a strong and legitimate state is the fundamental guarantee for stability.
He stated that Egypt views Lebanon as a fundamental pillar for stability in the Arab East, reaffirming Egypt's ongoing efforts to keep Lebanon away from any escalation.
Cooperation on Vital Issues
For his part, the Lebanese Prime Minister stated that he discussed with his Egyptian counterpart the priorities for cooperation on several vital issues, emphasizing the necessity of following up on what has been agreed upon, describing the relationship between Lebanon and Egypt as more than just an exchange of interests, but rather a shared history that is intended to be carried into the future.
He highlighted Madbouly's interest in meeting with economic bodies, as part of enhancing cooperation between the Egyptian and Lebanese sectors, pointing to Egypt's role in working to end the Israeli occupation in southern Lebanon, halt the ongoing Israeli hostilities, and release the prisoners.
