دعت الجوازات السعودية، المواطنين ممن جدّدوا جوازات سفرهم إلى فحص الجواز السابق وتفعيل الجديد لدى إحدى إدارات الجوازات أو فروعها أو المنافذ الدولية. وأشارت إلى أن الفحص والتفعيل لا يتطلبان موعداً مسبقاً.
يشترط لاستكمال الإجراء إحضار الجواز السابق والتحقق من حالة التفعيل عبر منصة «أبشر».
ونبّهت إدارة الجوازات إلى أن جواز السفر الصادر لأول مرة لا يحتاج إلى تفعيل. يُشار إلى أن الجوازات السعودية أتاحت للمواطنين إصدار جواز السفر إلكترونياً بسهولة عبر منصة أبشر، دون الحاجة لزيارة مكاتبها وذلك عبر خطوات سريعة بعد تقديم الطلب واستكمال الإجراءات.
وتبدأ الخطوة بتسجيل الدخول إلى منصة «أبشر» واختيار خدماتي ثم الجوازات واختيار إصدار جواز السفر السعودي، وطلب إصدار جواز وتحديد مدة التجديد، والإقرار بالموافقة على الشروط المطلوبة، وتحديد خيارات الاستلام والموافقة على الإقرارات المطلوبة، وتعبئة بيانات عنوان التوصيل واختيار طريقة التوصيل، والموافقة على الإقرار المطلوب مع مراجعة المعلومات وسداد الرسوم.
The Saudi Passport Authority has called on citizens who have renewed their passports to check their previous passport and activate the new one at one of the passport offices, its branches, or international outlets. It indicated that the inspection and activation do not require a prior appointment.
To complete the procedure, it is required to bring the previous passport and verify the activation status through the "Absher" platform.
The Passport Authority warned that a passport issued for the first time does not need activation. It is noteworthy that the Saudi Passport Authority has made it easy for citizens to issue a passport electronically through the Absher platform, without the need to visit its offices, through quick steps after submitting the application and completing the procedures.
The process begins by logging into the "Absher" platform, selecting "My Services," then "Passports," choosing to issue a Saudi passport, requesting the issuance of a passport, specifying the renewal duration, agreeing to the required terms, selecting delivery options, agreeing to the required declarations, filling in the delivery address details, choosing the delivery method, and agreeing to the required declaration while reviewing the information and paying the fees.
