غيّب الموت الإعلامي سعود بن تركي المقاطي العتيبي، أحد أبرز الوجوه الإعلامية في قناة «الواقع»، إثر حادثة مرورية أليمة تعرّض لها في منطقة القدية، عقب خروجه من استوديو القناة، مخلفاً حالة من الحزن في الأوساط الإعلامية وبين جمهوره ومتابعيه.
ونعاه عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي إعلاميون وأكاديميون، مشيدين بما عُرف عنه من مهنية عالية، وأخلاق رفيعة، وعلاقات طيبة مع زملائه، إلى جانب إسهاماته الإعلامية التي امتدت لسنوات، كان من أبرزها مشاركته في لجنة تحكيم برنامج «زد رصيدك» وتقديمه العديد من البرامج الحوارية والاجتماعية.
وبرز الفقيد العتيبي خلال مسيرته الإعلامية بإسهامه في تقديم محتوى هادف يلامس اهتمامات المجتمع، واستضاف نخبة من المسؤولين والمختصين والشخصيات العامة، ما أكسبه حضوراً واسعاً ومحبة لدى المشاهدين.
وسيُصلى عليه عقب عصر اليوم (الإثنين)، في جامع الراجحي بمدينة الرياض، وسيوارى جثمانه الثرى في مقبرة النسيم.

The death of the media figure Saud bin Turki Al-Muqati Al-Otaibi, one of the most prominent media personalities at the "Reality" channel, was caused by a tragic traffic accident he suffered in the Al-Qiddiya area after leaving the channel's studio, leaving a state of sadness in the media community and among his audience and followers.
Media professionals and academics mourned him on social media platforms, praising his well-known high professionalism, noble ethics, and good relationships with his colleagues, in addition to his media contributions that spanned years, among the most notable of which was his participation in the judging committee of the program "Zid Raseedak" and hosting numerous talk and social shows.
The late Al-Otaibi distinguished himself during his media career by contributing to the presentation of purposeful content that resonates with community interests, hosting a selection of officials, specialists, and public figures, which earned him a wide presence and affection among viewers.
He will be prayed for after Asr today (Monday) at Al-Rajhi Mosque in Riyadh, and his body will be laid to rest in Al-Naseem Cemetery.
The deceased is the brother of: Mu'id, Muhammad, and A'id.
"Okaz," which was saddened by the news, extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, asking God to envelop him in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and inspire his family with patience and solace.
