اختارت الجمعية العربية لقسطرة القلب الدكتور وائل أحمد القشقري رئيساً لها بالإجماع، خلال الاجتماع الأخير للجمعية العامة.
ويعمل القشقري استشاري قسطرة القلب بمركز الملك فيصل لأمراض القلب بالحرس الوطني، وحصل على عدة زمالات دولية، إضافة إلى عضويته في عدد من الجمعيات المتخصصة، ونال جائزة التميز في القلب من الجمعية السعودية للقلب، وله أبحاث علمية منشورة في مجلات طبية عالمية.
The Arab Society for Cardiac Catheterization has unanimously elected Dr. Wael Ahmed Al-Qashqari as its president during the recent general assembly meeting.
Al-Qashqari works as a consultant for cardiac catheterization at King Faisal Center for Heart Diseases in the National Guard, and he has obtained several international fellowships, in addition to being a member of various specialized societies. He has received the Excellence in Cardiology Award from the Saudi Heart Association and has published scientific research in international medical journals.
