ودعت قبائل بني ثوعة في محايل عسير وكافة القبائل في تهامة عسير الشيخ محمد بن سروي أحمد آل سروي الثوعي شيخ بني ثوعة السابق (رحمه الله)، بعد معاناة مع المرض. وأديت الصلاة عليه بعد عصر اليوم في جامع الشيخ محمد الفلقي ودفن في مقبرة العيدة، وسط حضور كبير من المشيعين، ما يعكس مكانة الفقيد ومحبته من كافة القبائل. وعبر ابنه الشيخ حسن بن محمد سروي نائب قبيلة بني ثوعة عن حزنه الشديد لرحيل والده.
ونشأ الفقيد في منزل والده (رحمه الله) في بلدة العيدة، وعرفت عنه صفات كريمة اكتسبها من والده، منها إصلاح ذات البين والعطف على الناس.
يذكر أن الشيخ «بن سروي» من كبار مشايخ تهامة عسير. «عكاظ» تتقدم بأحر التعازي والمواساة لأسرة الفقيد وكافة قبيلة بني ثوعة.
The tribes of Bani Thoua in Muhayil Asir and all the tribes in Tihama Asir bid farewell to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sarwi Ahmed Al Sarwi Al Thoua, the former chief of Bani Thoua (may Allah have mercy on him), after a struggle with illness. The prayer for him was performed after Asr today at Sheikh Mohammed Al-Falqi Mosque, and he was buried in Al-Eida Cemetery, amidst a large gathering of mourners, reflecting the status of the deceased and the love he received from all the tribes. His son, Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed Sarwi, the deputy of Bani Thoua tribe, expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of his father.
The deceased grew up in his father's (may Allah have mercy on him) home in the town of Al-Eida, and he was known for his noble qualities inherited from his father, including reconciling between people and showing compassion to others.
It is worth mentioning that Sheikh "Bin Sarwi" was one of the prominent sheikhs of Tihama Asir. "Okaz" extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and all the members of Bani Thoua tribe.
