انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى في مدينة أبها، محمد بن سلطان مريع آل خضر وذلك بعد معاناته من المرض الذي لم يمهله طويلا، إذ تمت الصلاة على جنازته بعد عصر اليوم في جامع الملك فهد، ودُفن في مقبرة العزيزة. وكان الفقيد قد تقاعد من التعليم بعد خدمته 33 عاماً، وهو شقيق الزميل الإعلامي عبدالله مريع، وخال الزميل الإعلامي سلطان مسلط، فيما تتقبل أسرته وأقاربه العزاء في استراحة بحي المحالة بأبها. رحمه الله، وغفر له، وأسكنه فسيح جناته.
Mohammed bin Sultan Murai Al-Khadr passed away in the city of Abha, may God have mercy on him, after suffering from an illness that did not give him much time. The prayer for his funeral was held after Asr today at King Fahd Mosque, and he was buried in Al-Azizah Cemetery. The deceased had retired from teaching after 33 years of service, and he was the brother of media colleague Abdullah Murai and the uncle of media colleague Sultan Musallat. His family and relatives are receiving condolences at a reception in the Al-Muhalla neighborhood in Abha. May God have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant him a place in His vast paradise.
