في لحظة وداع تختلط فيها مشاعر الامتنان بالفخر، أُسدل الستار على مسيرة امتدت لأكثر من 37 عاماً قضاها محمد غرم الله الحمود الغامدي في ميادين التعليم والصحة المدرسية.. رجل لم يكن موظفاً يؤدي عمله فحسب، بل كان قلباً نابضاً بالمسؤولية، وروحاً متّقدة بالشغف، ووجهاً مألوفاً في كل فعالية ومناسبة تعليمية.
وُلد الغامدي في الأول من رجب عام 1388هـ بقرية حصن بالزين في منطقة الباحة، وبدأ رحلته مع التعليم صغيراً في مدارس قريته عام 1394هـ، قبل أن يواصل مشواره حتى أنهى الثانوية عام 1406هـ، فالتحق بكلية إعداد المعلمين وتخرج فيها عام 1410هـ. بدأ التدريس مع مطلع العقد الأخير من القرن الهجري الماضي، متنقلاً بين مدارس همام بن الحارث، الأمير متعب، طيبة، ثم مدرسة الخيف التي ودع فيها الميدان التربوي.
لكن ما جعل اسمه لامعاً ليس فقط دروس العلوم التي قدمها، بل شغفه العميق بالجانب الصحي، إذ برز موجّهاً صحياً استثنائياً ومسعفاً أوليّاً معتمداً، ومدرب إسعافات أولية، يقف في مقدمة الصفوف متطوعاً في المناسبات الكبرى التي ترعاها إدارة تعليم جدة، بحضور أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة ونائبه ومحافظ جدة. أنشأ ركناً إسعافياً متكاملاً، ليكون درعاً حامية للطلبة، ومثالاً يحتذى في الانضباط والاستعداد.
لم يقتصر دوره على الإسعاف والتوجيه، بل أضاف للمسرح المدرسي بعداً إبداعياً من خلال مشاركاته المتكررة في الأوبريتات والفعاليات التربوية، بروح تمثيلية فطرية وأداء عفوي جذاب، ما جعله حاضراً دائماً في ذاكرة كل من عمل معه.
وعن أثره في الميدان، قالت مديرة قسم الشؤون الصحية المدرسية في تعليم جدة الدكتورة عزيزة الغامدي: «محمد غرم الله الغامدي ليس مجرد موجّه صحي، بل أنموذج فريد في الوعي المهني والانتماء الصادق، قدّم خدمات نوعية ومبادرات مبتكرة جعلت منه رمزاً مضيئاً في الصحة المدرسية. لم يكن يوماً ممن يسعون وراء الأضواء، ولم يطلب في حياته خطاب شكر، بل كان حاضراً بفكره، وقلبه، وكل جوارحه، متطوعاً مبادراً في كل موقف وفعالية، يؤمن أن الصحة المدرسية رسالة لا وظيفة».
وأضافت: «يغادر اليوم الميدان بجسده، لكن أثره باق، فقد كان من أولئك الذين إذا حضروا رفعوا سقف الجودة، وإذا غابوا ظل عطاؤهم نبراساً يُهتدى به».
وفي وداعه، تبقى كلماته وابتسامته وخطاه الموثوقة في ذاكرة الميدان.. فهو ممن صنعوا الفرق، وتركوا خلفهم إرثاً من الحب والاحترام.
In a moment of farewell where feelings of gratitude blend with pride, the curtain has fallen on a journey that spanned more than 37 years, during which Muhammad Gharam Allah Al-Hamoud Al-Ghamdi dedicated himself to the fields of education and school health. A man who was not just an employee performing his job, but a heart pulsating with responsibility, a spirit ignited with passion, and a familiar face at every educational event and occasion.
Al-Ghamdi was born on the first of Rajab in the year 1388 AH in the village of Hasn Al-Zain in the Al-Baha region. He began his journey in education at a young age in the schools of his village in 1394 AH, before continuing his path until he completed high school in 1406 AH. He then joined the Teachers Preparation College and graduated in 1410 AH. He started teaching at the beginning of the last decade of the previous Hijri century, moving between the schools of Hamam bin Al-Harith, Prince Muteb, Taiba, and finally the Al-Khaif School, where he bid farewell to the educational field.
However, what made his name shine was not only the science lessons he delivered but also his deep passion for the health aspect. He emerged as an exceptional health supervisor and a certified first aid responder, a first aid trainer who stood at the forefront, volunteering at major events sponsored by the Jeddah Education Administration, in the presence of the Emir of the Makkah region, his deputy, and the Governor of Jeddah. He established a comprehensive first aid corner to serve as a protective shield for students and a model of discipline and preparedness.
His role was not limited to first aid and guidance; he added a creative dimension to the school stage through his repeated participation in operettas and educational events, with an innate acting spirit and an engaging spontaneous performance, which made him a constant presence in the memory of everyone who worked with him.
Regarding his impact in the field, Dr. Aziza Al-Ghamdi, Director of the School Health Affairs Department in Jeddah Education, said: “Muhammad Gharam Allah Al-Ghamdi is not just a health supervisor, but a unique model of professional awareness and genuine belonging. He provided quality services and innovative initiatives that made him a shining symbol in school health. He was never one to seek the spotlight, nor did he ever ask for a letter of thanks in his life, but he was present with his mind, heart, and every part of his being, a proactive volunteer in every situation and event, believing that school health is a message, not a job.”
She added: “Today, he leaves the field with his body, but his impact remains. He was one of those who, when present, raised the bar for quality, and when absent, their contributions remained a guiding beacon.”
In his farewell, his words, smile, and reliable footsteps remain in the memory of the field.. he is one of those who made a difference and left behind a legacy of love and respect.
