أجرى وزير الخارجية المصري الدكتور بدر عبدالعاطي، عدداً من الاتصالات الهاتفية اليوم (الثلاثاء) مع وزير خارجية المملكة الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، ونائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية الأردني أيمن الصفدي، ووزير خارجية جمهورية تركيا هاكان فيدان.
وبحسب بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية المصرية، تناولت الاتصالات مستجدات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة، واستعرض الوزير عبدالعاطي الجهود المصرية المتواصلة لتثبيت اتفاق شرم الشيخ للسلام، مشدداً على أهمية التنفيذ الكامل لبنود الاتفاق لضمان إنهاء الحرب وتخفيف المعاناة الإنسانية.
وأكد وزير الخارجية المصري في هذا السياق ضرورة الانتقال إلى المرحلة الثانية من خطة الرئيس الأمريكي بما يشمل الجوانب السياسية والتنموية والإنسانية، مستعرضاً كذلك جهود مصر والتحضيرات ذات الصلة بعقد المؤتمر الدولي لإعادة الإعمار والتعافي المبكر والتنمية في قطاع غزة، المقرر عقده بالقاهرة خلال نوفمبر الجاري، والذي سيشكل خطوة محورية في حشد الدعم الدولي لجهود إعادة إعمار القطاع وتحقيق الاستقرار.
دعم التوصل إلى هدنة إنسانية شاملة في السودان
كما تناولت الاتصالات مستجدات الأوضاع في السودان، وجددعبدالعاطي التأكيد على ثوابت الموقف المصري الداعم لوحدة واستقرار السودان ومؤسساته الوطنية، مشيراً إلى الجهود التي تبذلها مصر في إطار الآلية الرباعية المعنية بالسودان لدعم التهدئة والتوصل إلى وقف شامل لإطلاق النار في جميع أنحاء البلاد، وأكد على أهمية تضافر الجهود الإقليمية والدولية للتوصل إلى هدنة إنسانية شاملة تُمهد الطريق لإطلاق عملية سياسية جامعة، مع ضمان تدفق المساعدات الإنسانية والإغاثية إلى جميع أنحاء السودان.
كما أعرب عن إدانة مصر للانتهاكات السافرة التي شهدتها الفاشر في الفترة الأخيرة، مشدداً على ضرورة وضع حد فوري لها، ومؤكداً الحرص على مواصلة تقديم الدعم الإنساني والإغاثي للأشقاء السودانيين للتخفيف من معاناتهم.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aati conducted a number of phone calls today (Tuesday) with the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the calls addressed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, and Minister Abdel Aati reviewed Egypt's ongoing efforts to solidify the Sharm El-Sheikh peace agreement, emphasizing the importance of fully implementing the terms of the agreement to ensure the end of the war and alleviate humanitarian suffering.
In this context, the Egyptian Foreign Minister affirmed the necessity of moving to the second phase of the American president's plan, which includes political, developmental, and humanitarian aspects, also reviewing Egypt's efforts and preparations related to holding the international conference for reconstruction, early recovery, and development in the Gaza Strip, scheduled to take place in Cairo during this November, which will represent a pivotal step in mobilizing international support for the reconstruction efforts and achieving stability in the region.
Support for Reaching a Comprehensive Humanitarian Ceasefire in Sudan
The calls also addressed the latest developments in Sudan, and Abdel Aati reiterated the constants of the Egyptian position supporting the unity and stability of Sudan and its national institutions, pointing to the efforts being made by Egypt within the framework of the Quadruple Mechanism concerned with Sudan to support the de-escalation and reach a comprehensive ceasefire throughout the country. He emphasized the importance of regional and international efforts to achieve a comprehensive humanitarian ceasefire that paves the way for launching an inclusive political process, while ensuring the flow of humanitarian and relief aid throughout Sudan.
He also expressed Egypt's condemnation of the blatant violations witnessed in El Fasher recently, stressing the need to put an immediate end to them, and reaffirming the commitment to continue providing humanitarian and relief support to the Sudanese brothers to alleviate their suffering.
