أكد وزير الدفاع السوداني حسن داود اليوم (الثلاثاء) ترحيب مجلس الأمن والدفاع بجهود ومقترحات السلام، مشدداً على أن استمرار التجهيزات من أجل معركة الشعب السوداني حق وطني مشروع خاصة في المرحلة القادمة.
وقال وزير الدفاع السوداني إن المجلس يشكر إدارة ترمب وكبير مستشار الشؤون العربية والأفريقية مسعد بولس على جهودها من أجل السلام، مضيفا: أن المجلس ناقش جرائم الإبادة الجماعية والتطهير العرقي التي ارتكبتها الدعم السريع في مدينة الفاشر، وقرر تشكيل لجنة وطنية من جهات الاختصاص لبحث المسائل المتعلقة بالوضع الإنساني.
وبحث مجلس الأمن والدفاع السوداني برئاسة قائد الجيش عبد الفتاح البرهان اليوم مقترح الهدنة الذي تقدّمت به الولايات المتحدة لوضع حد للنزاع الدامي في السودان منذ أكثر من عامين، بحسب مصدر حكومي في بورتسودان.
ودعا مجلس الأمن والدفاع السوداني، لـ«تعبئة شعبية عامة» لمواجهة قوات الدعم السريع.
وأجرى الموفد الأمريكي الخاص لأفريقيا مسعد بولس سلسلة اجتماعات في القاهرة خلال الأيام الأخيرة، بهدف وضع اللمسات الأخيرة على مقترح الهدنة الإنسانية الذي قُدّم منتصف سبتمبر الماضي، برعاية عدد من الوسطاء.
The Sudanese Minister of Defense, Hassan Dawood, confirmed today (Tuesday) the Security and Defense Council's welcome of peace efforts and proposals, emphasizing that the ongoing preparations for the battle of the Sudanese people are a legitimate national right, especially in the upcoming phase.
