قدمت واشنطن للأمم المتحدة مسودة مشروع قرار يتضمن نزع سلاح حماس إذا لم تسلمه طوعاً.ويتضمن المقترح إرسال قوة استقرار وليس قوات حفظ سلام، بغزة لمدة سنتين، بحسب ما أفصح موقع «أكسيوس»،اليوم(الثلاثاء).
ووفق المقترح، فإن واشنطن تهدف إلى نشر القوات الأولى في غزة بحلول شهر يناير القادم.
وتضمن المقترح أن قوة الاستقرار ستعمل على حفظ الأمن على حدود غزة مع مصر، وحماية الممرات الإنسانية بالقطاع، وتدريب الشرطة الفلسطينية.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، جدد دعوته لإسرائيل للسماح بدخول الصحفيين الأجانب إلى غزة بعد أن دخل وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ.
وقال مسؤولان أمريكيان في تصريحات صحفية:إن هناك أجزاء من غزة أكثر خطورة من غيرها، وإنه مع استمرار سيطرة إسرائيل على النصف الشرقي من القطاع بعد بدء وقف إطلاق النار في العاشر من أكتوبر الماضي. وجددت إدارة ترمب طلبها بمنح الصحفيين حق الوصول إلى غزة، مع الاعتراف بأن هذه المسألة ليست أولوية قصوى لواشنطن.
في غضون ذلك، أظهرت مشاهد قادمة من القطاع معدات للحفر مع عناصر حماس استعداداً لعمليات بحث عن جثث رهائن إسرائيليين في حي الشجاعية شرقي مدينة غزة.
وعلى صعيد آخر، وصل 5 أسرى فلسطينيين تم استلامهم من الصليب الأحمر إلى مستشفى الأقصى، وذلك بعد الإفراج عنهم من السجون الإسرائيلية.
Washington presented the United Nations with a draft resolution that includes disarming Hamas if it does not surrender voluntarily. The proposal includes sending a stabilization force, not peacekeeping troops, to Gaza for two years, according to what was revealed by the "Axios" website today (Tuesday).
According to the proposal, Washington aims to deploy the first troops in Gaza by next January.
The proposal states that the stabilization force will work to maintain security at the Gaza-Egypt border, protect humanitarian corridors in the sector, and train the Palestinian police.
U.S. President Donald Trump renewed his call for Israel to allow foreign journalists into Gaza after the ceasefire came into effect.
Two American officials stated in press remarks that there are parts of Gaza that are more dangerous than others, and that Israel continues to control the eastern half of the sector following the ceasefire that began on October 10. The Trump administration reiterated its request to grant journalists access to Gaza, acknowledging that this issue is not a top priority for Washington.
Meanwhile, footage from the sector showed excavation equipment with Hamas members preparing for search operations for the bodies of Israeli hostages in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
On another note, five Palestinian prisoners who were received from the Red Cross arrived at Al-Aqsa Hospital after being released from Israeli prisons.
