فيما كثفت إسرائيل قصفها لمخيمات النازحين في غزة، دعا الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الأحد) حركة حماس إلى التخلي عن سلاحها بشكل كامل وفوري.
وكتب ترمب في منشور على منصة «تروث سوشيال»: «يتمتع مجلس السلام بإمكانيات غير محدودة، وفي أكتوبر الماضي أطلقت خطة لإنهاء الصراع في غزة نهائياً، وقد اعتمد مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رؤيتنا بالإجماع، بعد ذلك بوقت قصير سهلنا وصول المساعدات الإنسانية بسرعة قياسية، وضمنا إطلاق سراح جميع الرهائن الأحياء منهم والأموات. في الشهر الماضي فقط انضم إليّ 22 عضوًا مؤسسًا بارزًا في دافوس، سويسرا، للاحتفال بتأسيسه رسميًا، ولتقديم رؤية طموحة للمدنيين في غزة، ثم، في نهاية المطاف، إلى ما هو أبعد من غزة - السلام العالمي!».
وأشار ترمب إلى أنه في 19 فبراير 2026 سينضم مجددًا إلى أعضاء مجلس السلام في معهد دونالد ترمب للسلام في واشنطن العاصمة، وسنعلن أن الدول الأعضاء قد تعهدت بأكثر من 5 مليارات دولار أمريكي لدعم الجهود الإنسانية وإعادة إعمار غزة، وخصصت آلاف الأفراد لقوة الاستقرار الدولية والشرطة المحلية للحفاظ على الأمن والسلام لسكان غزة.
وأضاف: "من الأهمية بمكان أن تلتزم حماس بتعهدها بالنزع الكامل والفوري للسلاح، سيثبت مجلس السلام أنه أهم هيئة دولية في التاريخ، ويشرفني أن أخدم كرئيس له".
وكانت إسرائيل وحركة حماس قد وافقتا على خطة ترمب العام الماضي، ودخل وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ في أكتوبر 2025.
في غضون ذلك، ارتفع عدد ضحايا القصف الإسرائيلي المتواصل على غزة اليوم إلى 11 قتيلاً، بينهم القائد في سرايا القدس الجناح العسكري لحركة الجهاد سامي الدحدوح.
واستهدف الاحتلال مخيمات تؤوي نازحين قرب مفترق الاتصالات في منطقة الفالوجا، غرب جباليا شمال قطاع غزة ومحيط المسلخ التركي غرب خان يونس وحي تل الهوا جنوب غرب مدينة غزة، كما نُسفت مبانٍ سكنية في محيط دوار الشيخ زايد شمال مخيم جباليا.
As Israel intensified its bombardment of the refugee camps in Gaza, U.S. President Donald Trump today (Sunday) called on Hamas to completely and immediately relinquish its weapons.
Trump wrote in a post on the "Truth Social" platform: "The Peace Council has unlimited potential, and last October I launched a plan to end the conflict in Gaza once and for all. The United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted our vision, and shortly thereafter we facilitated the delivery of humanitarian aid at record speed, ensuring the release of all living and deceased hostages. Just last month, 22 prominent founding members in Davos, Switzerland, joined me to officially celebrate its establishment and to present an ambitious vision for civilians in Gaza, and then, ultimately, beyond Gaza - global peace!"
Trump noted that on February 19, 2026, he would again join the members of the Peace Council at the Donald Trump Institute for Peace in Washington, D.C., where we will announce that member countries have pledged over $5 billion to support humanitarian efforts and the reconstruction of Gaza, and have allocated thousands of individuals to the international stabilization force and local police to maintain security and peace for the people of Gaza.
He added: "It is crucial for Hamas to commit to its pledge for the complete and immediate disarmament; the Peace Council will prove to be the most important international body in history, and I am honored to serve as its president."
Israel and Hamas had agreed to Trump's plan last year, and the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025.
Meanwhile, the number of casualties from the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza today rose to 11 dead, including the commander of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, Sami Al-Dahdouh.
The occupation targeted camps housing displaced persons near the communications junction in the Falouja area, west of Jabalia in northern Gaza, and around the Turkish slaughterhouse west of Khan Younis and the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza City, while residential buildings were demolished around Sheikh Zayed Roundabout north of Jabalia camp.
