واصل الجيش الإسرائيلي انتهاكاته للسيادة السورية، وتوغلت قواته، اليوم(السبت)، في محيط قرية أوفانيا بريف القنيطرة الشمالي جنوبي البلاد.
وأفادت وكالة «سانا» السورية للأنباء، بأن دورية عسكرية إسرائيلية مكونة من 12 عربة عسكرية نوع «هايلوكس» وناقلات جند وسيارات جيب، انطلقت من الحميدية وتوغلت في محيط قرية أوفانيا، وصولاً إلى التل الأحمر في ريف القنيطرة الشمالي.
ودانت السلطات السورية هذه الانتهاكات، ودعت المجتمع الدولي إلى اتخاذ موقف حازم لوقفها، مؤكدة التزامها باتفاقية فصل القوات المبرمة بين الجانبين عام 1974، والتي أعلنت إسرائيل انهيارها بعد سقوط نظام بشار الأسد في الثامن من شهر ديسمبر العام 2024.
ومنذ سقوط الأسد، ينفذ الجيش الإسرائيلي غارات جوية على الأراضي السورية، وتجاوز المناطق المحتلة من هضبة الجولان إلى داخل المنطقة العازلة، في انتهاك لاتفاق فض الاشتباك الموقع عام 1974.
وكثّف الجيش الإسرائيلي خلال الأسبوعين الأخيرين، نشاطه في الجهة السورية من المنطقة العازلة عبر تنفيذ حملات دهم واعتقال وعمليات تفتيش.
وبين 8 ديسمبر 2024 ويوليو الماضي، أنشأ الجيش الإسرائيلي 10 نقاط عسكرية في ريف دمشق ودرعا والقنيطرة، إلا أنه ضاعف هذا العدد تقريباً خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الأخيرة ليصل إلى 19 نقطة.
وتقاد النقاط العسكرية الإسرائيلية غالباً على تلال إستراتيجية أو قرب التقاطعات الحيوية للطرق، ما يمنح الجيش الإسرائيلي سيطرة مباشرة على التحركات في المنطقة.
The Israeli army continued its violations of Syrian sovereignty, and its forces penetrated today (Saturday) into the vicinity of the village of Ofania in the northern Quneitra countryside in the south of the country.
The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported that an Israeli military patrol consisting of 12 military vehicles of the "Hilux" type, troop carriers, and jeeps, set out from Al-Hamidiyah and advanced into the vicinity of the village of Ofania, reaching the Red Hill in the northern Quneitra countryside.
The Syrian authorities condemned these violations and called on the international community to take a firm stance to stop them, reaffirming their commitment to the disengagement agreement signed between the two sides in 1974, which Israel announced had collapsed after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime on December 8, 2024.
Since Assad's fall, the Israeli army has been conducting airstrikes on Syrian territory, exceeding the occupied areas of the Golan Heights into the buffer zone, in violation of the disengagement agreement signed in 1974.
In the past two weeks, the Israeli army has intensified its activities on the Syrian side of the buffer zone by carrying out raids, arrests, and search operations.
Between December 8, 2024, and last July, the Israeli army established 10 military points in the countryside of Damascus, Daraa, and Quneitra, but it has nearly doubled this number in the last three months to reach 19 points.
The Israeli military points are often located on strategic hills or near vital road intersections, granting the Israeli army direct control over movements in the area.
