أعلنت كتائب القسام الجناح العسكري لحركة حماس أنها ستسلم جثتي أسيرين من رهائن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عند الساعة الرابعة مساء بتوقيت غزة (الثانية بتوقيت غرينتش)، اليوم (الخميس).
وكانت الكتائب أفادت في ساعة متأخرة من مساء الثلاثاء بانتشال جثتي الأسيرين أميرام كوبر وساهر باروخ خلال عمليات البحث.
وحذرت المقاومة الفلسطينية من أن أي تصعيد عسكري من جانب الاحتلال سيعوق عمليات البحث والحفر وانتشال الجثث، ويؤدي إلى تأخير استعادة الاحتلال جثث قتلاه.
وأعلنت كتائب القسام (الثلاثاء)، تأجيل عملية مقررة لتسليم جثة أحد الأسرى، بسبب خروقات الاحتلال لوقف إطلاق النار.
ويسري حالياً وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة بموجب الاتفاق الذي أُبرم في شرم الشيخ المصرية في 9 أكتوبر الجاري بوساطة قطر ومصر وتركيا ومشاركة الولايات المتحدة، بعد عامين من الإبادة الإسرائيلية.
ورغم الاتفاق، تواصل إسرائيل شن غارات جوية وقصف مدفعي في قطاع غزة بشكل شبه يومي، كما تواصل تقييد دخول المساعدات وتغلق معبر رفح بين القطاع الفلسطيني ومصر بدعوى أنها لم تتسلم بعد 13 جثة لأسراها ما زالت في غزة.
وتؤكد المقاومة الفلسطينية التزامها بوقف إطلاق النار، وتتهم الاحتلال باختلاق الذرائع لتخريب الاتفاق، مشيرة إلى أن انتشال جثث الأسرى عملية معقدة تتطلب إمكانات لا تتوفر في غزة حالياً.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that it will hand over the bodies of two prisoners from the Israeli occupation at 4 PM Gaza time (2 PM GMT) today (Thursday).
The brigades reported late Tuesday evening that the bodies of the prisoners Amirham Cooper and Saher Baruch were recovered during search operations.
The Palestinian resistance warned that any military escalation by the occupation would hinder search and recovery operations, leading to delays in the retrieval of the bodies of its fallen.
On Tuesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the postponement of a scheduled operation to hand over the body of one of the prisoners due to violations of the ceasefire by the occupation.
A ceasefire is currently in effect in the Gaza Strip under the agreement reached in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on October 9, mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, with the participation of the United States, after two years of Israeli extermination.
Despite the agreement, Israel continues to carry out airstrikes and artillery shelling in the Gaza Strip almost daily, while also restricting the entry of aid and closing the Rafah crossing between the Palestinian territory and Egypt, claiming it has not yet received 13 bodies of its soldiers that remain in Gaza.
The Palestinian resistance affirms its commitment to the ceasefire and accuses the occupation of fabricating excuses to sabotage the agreement, noting that the recovery of the prisoners' bodies is a complex process that requires resources not currently available in Gaza.
