أعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية العراقية العقيد عباس البهادلي، تفكيك أكثر من 100 شبكة للاستغلال الجنسي وإيذاء النفس، مؤكداً اعتقال العشرات ممن يمارسون أعمال السحر والشعوذة.
وقال البهادلي في مؤتمر صحفي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، إن جرائم الاتجار بالبشر لا تقف عند حدٍّ بالعمر وتستهدف الطبقات الاجتماعية والمدن كافة، ومع تطور التكنولوجيا استخدموها تجار البشر لاستغلال الإنسان في الغش، والاستغلال الجنسي والجرائم وغيرها.
تفكيك شبكات متخصصة
وأضاف أن المديرية قطعت أشواطاً بتكفيك كبار الشبكات المتخصصة بالاستغلال الجنسي، معلناً أنها فككت 96 شبكة للاستغلال الجنسي، وللأسف راح ضحية هذه الجريمة 99 ضحية، وأن عدد مرتكبي الجريمة بلغ 296 محكوماً حتى هذه اللحظة.
وتطرق المتحدث إلى جرائم المتاجرة بالبشر من خلال إيهام أشخاص للعمل ونيل الشهادات خارج العراق، قائلاً إن جهود مديرية مكافحة الاتجار بالبشر تمثلت في تفكيك 22 شبكة تجارة دولية لتهريب المهاجرين، والعمالة الأجنبية، وراح ضحيتها 91 شخصاً مع 13 محكوماً.
ولفت إلى ان المديرية فككت 17 شبكة لبيع الأطفال، وراح ضحية الجريمة 26 طفلاً، فيما بلغ عدد المحكومين بالجريمة 24 محكوماً.
وأكد تفكيك 16 شبكة للتسول بلغ عدد ضحاياها 39، إضافة إلى صدور أحكام قضائية على 37 مداناً بالتجارة وإدارة شبكات التسول.
وبحسب البهادلي فإن جريمة نزع الأعضاء البشرية تعد من أكبر الجرائم التي جرمها القضاء العراقي، كاشفاً أن المديرية فككت 14 شبكة لنزع الأعضاء البشرية بلغ عدد ضحاياها 10، وصدرت أحكام على 24 مداناً في هذه الجريمة.
وقال المتحدث باسم الداخلية، عن محور آخر في العمليات التي نفذتها القوات الأمنية والمتمثلة في القبض على أشخاص يمارسون أعمال السحر والشعوذة، إذ تم القبض على 154 شخصاً متهماً بممارسة تلك الأعمال.
شبكة عابرة للوطن
من جهته، أعلن مدير مديرية مكافحة الاتجار بالبشر اللواء مصطفى رضا الياسري، تفكيك شبكة عابرة للوطن، والقبض على رئيسها الذي هرب أكثر من 1,000 شخص، موضحاً أنه تم استدراجه والقبض عليه، وضبط تحويلات مالية بأسماء أخرى.
وأوضح أن عملية القبض نفذت بحق المتهم في العاصمة بغداد، مؤكداً أنه اعترف على الشبكة ومسؤول الترويج لصفحات التواصل الاجتماعي. ولفت إلى أن الشبكة تنشط داخل وخارج العراق، مؤكداً أنه تم الحكم على المتهم بالسجن 15 عاماً مع غرامة مالية.
وأعلن الياسري تفكيك شبكة تختص بالابتزاز وإيذاء الضحايا، يقودها حدث عمره 14 عاماً، يقوم باستدراج الضحايا عبر استخدام إحدى الألعاب الإلكترونية.
وأوضح أن المدان يقوم بتحريض الضحايا على القيام بأفعال تصل بهم إلى حد الانتحار، وأن 30 شخصا راحوا ضحية تلك الأفعال من ضمنهم 29 شخصاً من دول عربية وأجنبية، وشخص واحد من العراق.
وأضاف أن هذا الحدث تم استدراجه والقبض عليه، وهو مسؤول عن 17 شبكة، يديرها بنفسه، داعياً الأهالي إلى متابعة أبنائهم لعدم الانزلاق في مثل هذه الجرائم.
The spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, Colonel Abbas Al-Bahadli, announced the dismantling of more than 100 networks involved in sexual exploitation and self-harm, confirming the arrest of dozens of individuals engaged in witchcraft and sorcery.
Al-Bahadli stated in a press conference today (Tuesday) that human trafficking crimes do not have an age limit and target all social classes and cities. With the advancement of technology, human traffickers have exploited it for deception, sexual exploitation, and other crimes.
Dismantling Specialized Networks
He added that the directorate has made significant progress in dismantling major networks specializing in sexual exploitation, announcing that it has dismantled 96 networks for sexual exploitation. Unfortunately, 99 victims have fallen prey to this crime, and the number of offenders has reached 296 convicted individuals so far.
The spokesperson addressed human trafficking crimes through deceiving individuals into working and obtaining certificates outside Iraq, stating that the efforts of the Human Trafficking Directorate resulted in the dismantling of 22 international trafficking networks for smuggling migrants and foreign labor, which victimized 91 individuals along with 13 convicted persons.
He pointed out that the directorate dismantled 17 networks for child trafficking, resulting in 26 child victims, while the number of convicted individuals in this crime reached 24.
He confirmed the dismantling of 16 networks for begging, which had 39 victims, in addition to judicial rulings issued against 37 convicted individuals involved in trafficking and managing begging networks.
According to Al-Bahadli, the crime of organ trafficking is among the most serious crimes condemned by the Iraqi judiciary, revealing that the directorate dismantled 14 networks for organ trafficking, with 10 victims, and 24 individuals have been convicted in this crime.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior also mentioned another aspect of the operations carried out by security forces, which involved the arrest of individuals practicing witchcraft and sorcery, with 154 suspects apprehended for engaging in such activities.
A Transnational Network
For his part, the Director of the Human Trafficking Directorate, Major General Mustafa Redha Al-Yasiri, announced the dismantling of a transnational network and the arrest of its leader, who had smuggled more than 1,000 individuals. He clarified that the leader was lured and apprehended, along with financial transfers under different names.
He explained that the arrest operation took place in the capital, Baghdad, confirming that the suspect confessed to the network and the person responsible for promoting their social media pages. He noted that the network operates both inside and outside Iraq, confirming that the suspect was sentenced to 15 years in prison along with a financial fine.
Al-Yasiri announced the dismantling of a network specializing in extortion and harming victims, led by a 14-year-old who lures victims using an electronic game.
He clarified that the convicted individual incites victims to engage in acts that could lead them to suicide, with 30 individuals having fallen victim to these actions, including 29 from Arab and foreign countries and one from Iraq.
He added that this juvenile was lured and arrested, being responsible for 17 networks that he manages himself, urging parents to monitor their children to prevent them from falling into such crimes.
