ناقش سفير المملكة العربية السعودية في لبنان وليد بخاري، اليوم(الجمعة)، مع وزيرة السياحة اللبنانية لورا الخازن، التحضيرات المشتركة بشأن المشاركة في اجتماعات الجمعية العامة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة.
ومن المقرر أن تستضيف العاصمة السعودية الرياض الاجتماعات خلال المدة من ٧-١١ نوفمبر القادم.
وتباحث الجانبان حول مشروع (إعلان الرياض المعني بمستقبل السياحة)، وسبل تعزيز وتطوير التعاون المشترك بين البلدين الشقيقين في المجال السياحي.
ويعقد الاجتماع الأممي تحت شعار «السياحة المدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي: إعادة تعريف المستقبل»، وتتزامن هذه الدورة مع الاحتفال بمرور خمسين عامًا على تأسيس المنظمة.
ومن المقرر أن تستقبل المملكة، ممثلةً بوزارة السياحة، وفودًا من أكثر من (160) دولة من أعضاء المنظمة، إضافة إلى عددٍ من المنظمات والجهات الفاعلة في القطاع العالمي، للمشاركة في حوار دولي يهدف إلى رسم خريطة طريق نحو مستقبل سياحي أكثر استدامة وازدهارًا، كما سيحتفي المشاركون بخمسة عقود من التعاون والتقدّم تحت مظلة منظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة.
The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, discussed today (Friday) with the Lebanese Minister of Tourism, Laura Khazen, the joint preparations for participation in the meetings of the United Nations World Tourism Organization General Assembly.
The meetings are scheduled to be hosted in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from November 7 to 11.
The two sides discussed the project (Riyadh Declaration on the Future of Tourism) and ways to enhance and develop joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the tourism sector.
The UN meeting will be held under the slogan "AI-Powered Tourism: Redefining the Future," coinciding with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the organization's founding.
The Kingdom is set to receive, represented by the Ministry of Tourism, delegations from more than 160 member countries of the organization, in addition to several organizations and stakeholders in the global sector, to participate in an international dialogue aimed at charting a roadmap towards a more sustainable and prosperous tourism future. Participants will also celebrate five decades of cooperation and progress under the umbrella of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
