حذّرت 4 منظمات أممية، اليوم (الخميس)، من خطورة الوضع الإنساني بالسودان، مؤكدة أن 30 مليون شخص باتوا بحاجة لمساعدات عاجلة.
ودعت المنظمات في بيان مشترك إلى وقف فوري للأعمال العدائية بالسودان، مبينة أن 130 ألف طفل على الأقل محاصرون في الفاشر منذ 16 شهرا.
3000 نازح من كردفان
وأشارت إلى أن الوضع في ولايات كردفان ودارفور مقلق للغاية، وذلك عقب تأكيد مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا)، أن أكثر من 3000 شخص في ولاية شمال دارفور، ونحو 1200 شخص في ولايتي غرب وجنوب كردفان بالسودان، نزحوا من منازلهم خلال أسبوع بسبب العمليات القتالية.
وأكد مكتب الأمم المتحدة أن المدنيين في السودان يتحملون وطأة العنف المستمر، داعياً إلى ضمان وصول المساعدة الإنسانية إلى جميع المحتاجين.
وضع إنساني متفاقم
بدورها، ذكرت منظمة الهجرة الدولية، أن موجة النزوح الأخيرة وقعت خلال الفترة من 15 إلى 19 أكتوبر الجاري، بسبب تفاقم الوضع الأمني واستمرار المعارك بين الجيش السوداني وقوات الدعم السريع في المدينة ومحيطها، مبيناً أن النازحين توزعوا في مواقع متفرقة بمنطقتي الفاشر والطويلة شمال دارفور.
ولفت إلى أن الوضع لا يزال متوتراً ومتقلباً، ما ينذر بتفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية.
Four UN organizations warned today (Thursday) about the seriousness of the humanitarian situation in Sudan, confirming that 30 million people are in urgent need of assistance.
The organizations called in a joint statement for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Sudan, stating that at least 130,000 children have been trapped in El Fasher for 16 months.
3000 Displaced from Kordofan
They pointed out that the situation in the Kordofan and Darfur states is extremely concerning, following confirmation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) that more than 3,000 people in North Darfur and about 1,200 people in West and South Kordofan states in Sudan have been displaced from their homes within a week due to the fighting.
The UN office confirmed that civilians in Sudan are bearing the brunt of the ongoing violence, calling for ensuring humanitarian assistance reaches all those in need.
Worsening Humanitarian Situation
For its part, the International Organization for Migration reported that the recent wave of displacement occurred between October 15 and 19 due to the deteriorating security situation and ongoing battles between the Sudanese army and Rapid Support Forces in the city and its surroundings, indicating that the displaced have spread across various locations in the El Fasher and Tallouba areas in North Darfur.
It noted that the situation remains tense and volatile, warning of a worsening humanitarian crisis.
