في تصعيد درامي يهدد بإشعال صراع حدودي مفتوح، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الأفغانية التابعة لحكومة طالبان أمس (السبت)، تنفيذ هجمات واسعة النطاق على مواقع القوات الباكستانية قرب الحدود، زاعمة أنها رد مباشر على «العدوان الجوي الباكستاني» الذي شنته إسلام آباد في الأيام القليلة الماضية على أراضي أفغانستان.
وأكدت الوزارة في بيان رسمي أن الهجمات استهدفت قوافل عسكرية ومراكز تدريب في مقاطعة خيبر بختونخو الباكستانية، ما أسفر عن قتل عشرات الجنود الباكستانيين وتدمير معدات، وفقا للادعاءات الأولية.
ويأتي هذا التصعيد بعد غارات جوية باكستانية أدت إلى انفجارات في كابول وباكتيكا، ما يعمق التوترات بين البلدين اللدودين، ويثير مخاوف من حرب إقليمية أوسع تشمل جماعات مثل تحريك طالبان باكستان.
وتشهد الحدود الأفغانية-الباكستانية، التي تمتد لأكثر من 2600 كيلومتر وتُعرف بـ«خط دوران» المُرسم في 1893، توترات مستمرة منذ عقود، حيث تُستخدم كملاذ آمن للجماعات المسلحة، ومنذ سيطرة طالبان على أفغانستان في أغسطس 2021.
واتهمت باكستان حكومة طالبان بدعم تحريك طالبان باكستان، الجماعة المتحالفة مع طالبان الأفغانية، التي تشن هجمات يومية على القوات الباكستانية، ما أسفر عن مقتل أكثر من 600 جندي باكستاني في 2025 وحدها.
وبدأ التصعيد الحالي في 8 أكتوبر بهجوم طالبان على قافلة عسكرية باكستانية قرب الحدود، أسفر عن مقتل 11 جنديا باكستانيا، تلته غارات جوية باكستانية في 9 أكتوبر على كابول وباكتيكا، استهدفت قيادات لتنظيم طالبان مثل نور ولي محسود، ما أدى إلى انفجارات وادعاءات أفغانية بمقتل مدنيين.
In a dramatic escalation that threatens to ignite an open border conflict, the Afghan Ministry of Defense under the Taliban government announced yesterday (Saturday) the execution of large-scale attacks on Pakistani forces near the border, claiming it was a direct response to the "Pakistani air aggression" launched by Islamabad in recent days on Afghan territory.
The ministry confirmed in an official statement that the attacks targeted military convoys and training centers in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the deaths of dozens of Pakistani soldiers and the destruction of equipment, according to initial claims.
This escalation follows Pakistani airstrikes that led to explosions in Kabul and Paktika, deepening tensions between the two rival countries and raising fears of a broader regional war involving groups like Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
The Afghan-Pakistani border, which extends over 2,600 kilometers and is known as the "Durand Line" drawn in 1893, has witnessed ongoing tensions for decades, being used as a safe haven for armed groups, especially since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan in August 2021.
Pakistan has accused the Taliban government of supporting Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, the group allied with the Afghan Taliban, which conducts daily attacks on Pakistani forces, resulting in the deaths of more than 600 Pakistani soldiers in 2025 alone.
The current escalation began on October 8 with a Taliban attack on a Pakistani military convoy near the border, which resulted in the deaths of 11 Pakistani soldiers, followed by Pakistani airstrikes on October 9 in Kabul and Paktika, targeting leaders of the Taliban organization such as Noor Wali Mehsud, leading to explosions and Afghan claims of civilian casualties.
