كشفت المتحدثة باسم الحكومة الإيرانية فاطمة مهاجراني، أن إيران قدّمت مقترحاً للتفاوض المباشر مع واشنطن، إلا أن المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف حدّد الموعد، ولم يحضر.
وأوضحت مهاجراني بعد اجتماع لمجلس الوزراء، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن المقترح الإيراني لتأجيل آلية «الزناد» لمدة 45 يوماً لم يُقبل، وأن الأطراف المقابلة لم توافق على مطالب إيران بشأن المخزونات من اليورانيوم بنسبة 60% مقابل إلغاء كامل لآلية «سناب باك».
ما بعد تفعيل «آلية الزناد»
وقالت متحدثة الحكومة إن إيران دعت لعقد اجتماع مع دول الترويكا الأوروبية (بريطانيا وفرنسا وألمانيا) والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية وويتكوف، إلا أنهم لم يوافقوا أو لم يحضروا الجلسات.
وردّاً على سؤال حول مرحلة ما بعد تفعيل آلية «السناب باك»، أفادت مهاجراني بأن الحكومة تعمل على إعداد برنامج اقتصادي جديد بما يتناسب مع التشكيل الوزاري الحالي والظروف الحربية، على أن يُعرض البرنامج على مجلس الوزراء الأحد القادم. وأضافت أن البرنامج يهدف لحماية معيشة الشعب وتنفيذ موضوع «بطاقة السلع» الذي شدّد عليه الرئيس الإيراني.
أداة ضغط سياسية
وحول وضع مفتشي الوكالة الدولية، اعتبرت أن جميع الخطوات الإيرانية تأتي ضمن المصالح الوطنية، ووجود أو غياب المفتشين مرتبط بهذا الإطار، مؤكدة أن آلية «سناب باك» تحوّلت من مسار قانوني إلى أداة ضغط سياسية على إيران.
إيران تكذّب ويتكوف
وكان رئيس لجنة الأمن القومي والسياسة الخارجية في البرلمان الإيراني إبراهيم عزيزي، أعلن أن تصريحات ويتكوف عن وجود تواصل مع طهران غير دقيقة.
وقال إن «ويتكوف ادعى مرة أخرى أن الولايات المتحدة مستعدة للتفاوض مع إيران، إلا أن هذه التصريحات كاذبة»، وفق تعبيره.
واعتبر المسؤول الإيراني أن أمريكا «غير مستعدة للتفاوض بعكس تصريحات ويتكوف»، وفق ما نقلت عنه وسائل إعلام إيرانية.
حل دائم مع الإيرانيين
وسبق أن أعلن المبعوث الأمريكي خلال حديث بقمة كونكورديا في نيويورك، الأربعاء الماضي، أن بلاده تجري مباحثات مع الجميع ومن ضمنهم الإيرانيون. وقال: لدينا رغبة في إيجاد حل دائم مع الإيرانيين فإما التفاوض أو تعود العقوبات بشكل تلقائي.. وأعتقد أنها الدواء المناسب لما يحصل. وأضاف أن طهران في موقف صعب، معلناً حينها أن آلية إعادة فرض العقوبات التلقائية ستتم خلال يومين أو ثلاثة، لكنه أكد أنه ليس في نية واشنطن إيذاء طهران.
The Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani revealed that Iran has proposed direct negotiations with Washington; however, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff set the date but did not attend.
Mohajerani explained after a cabinet meeting today (Wednesday) that the Iranian proposal to postpone the "snapback" mechanism for 45 days was not accepted, and the opposing parties did not agree to Iran's demands regarding the stocks of uranium enriched to 60% in exchange for a complete cancellation of the "snapback" mechanism.
After Activating the "Snapback" Mechanism
The government spokesperson stated that Iran called for a meeting with the European troika countries (Britain, France, and Germany), the International Atomic Energy Agency, and Witkoff, but they did not agree or attend the sessions.
In response to a question about the phase after activating the "snapback" mechanism, Mohajerani stated that the government is working on preparing a new economic program that aligns with the current cabinet formation and wartime conditions, which will be presented to the cabinet next Sunday. She added that the program aims to protect the livelihood of the people and implement the "goods card" issue emphasized by the Iranian president.Political Pressure Tool
Regarding the status of the agency's inspectors, she considered that all Iranian steps fall within national interests, and the presence or absence of inspectors is linked to this framework, stressing that the "snapback" mechanism has shifted from a legal pathway to a political pressure tool against Iran.Iran Denies Witkoff
The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament, Ibrahim Azizi, announced that Witkoff's statements about communication with Tehran are inaccurate.
He said, "Witkoff claimed once again that the United States is ready to negotiate with Iran, but these statements are false," according to his expression.
The Iranian official considered that the U.S. is "not ready to negotiate contrary to Witkoff's statements," as reported by Iranian media.Permanent Solution with the Iranians
Witkoff had previously announced during a speech at the Concordia Summit in New York last Wednesday that his country is in discussions with everyone, including the Iranians. He said: "We have a desire to find a permanent solution with the Iranians; either negotiations or sanctions will automatically return... and I believe that is the appropriate remedy for what is happening." He added that Tehran is in a difficult position, announcing at that time that the mechanism for re-imposing automatic sanctions would occur within two or three days, but he confirmed that it is not Washington's intention to harm Tehran.
