Awaiting Hamas's response in the coming days to the American plan to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army is preparing for "dangerous days," according to the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth."

Chief of Staff of the Occupation Army Eyal Zamir emphasized the need for vigilance and readiness during his visit yesterday (Tuesday) to the Gaza Strip, during a meeting with fighters from elite units. He stressed the necessity for soldiers to be prepared in defensive positions and for leaders to be present at the front lines. Zamir spoke about the importance of movement and not remaining static in positions. The Chief of Staff pointed out that operations in Gaza will continue as planned and will not stop, affirming that "the attack plans for the coming days have been approved as planned."

Political observers questioned what lies behind the state of military readiness, noting that Israel is preparing for the possibility of the peace plan in Gaza failing.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday evening that if the stages of disarming the sector and dismantling Hamas are not implemented, Israel will proceed with this mission.

On Monday, the White House published the twenty points of the plan to establish peace in the devastated Palestinian sector, which included the formation of a temporary international stabilization force, the establishment of a Peace Council serving as a transitional authority headed by Trump himself, with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as a member, and involving the Palestinian Authority in later stages of managing the sector.

U.S. President Donald Trump gave Hamas a deadline of 3 to 4 days yesterday to deliver its response to the proposal to stop the war, hinting at a grim fate if they do not accept it.
