تحولت شوارع جنوة التاريخية في إيطاليا إلى ساحة احتفال عارمة، حيث خرج آلاف العمال والمؤيدين في مسيرة ضخمة من ميناء المدينة إلى وسطها، رافعين لافتات «لا لتجارة الموت» و«غزة لن تموت»، احتفالاً بنجاحهم في إحباط شحنة عسكرية إسرائيلية كانت على وشك التحميل على سفينة متجهة إلى حيفا.
وكانت الشحنة العسكرية تتكون من 10 حاويات تحتوي على مواد متفجرة وأجزاء أسلحة كما أكدت النقابات، ما يُعد ضربة قوية لسلسلة التوريد الدولية لجيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
سفينة تحمل شحنة عسكرية إسرائيلية
وبدأت القصة في ساعات الصباح الباكر في محطة سبينيلي بميناء جنوة، أحد أكبر الموانئ في المتوسط، عندما تلقى عمال النقابات معلومات استخباراتية من نقابات يونانية وفرنسية عن وصول سفينة تحمل شحنة عسكرية إسرائيلية، ودون تردد، أعلن العمال إضراباً فورياً واحتلوا المحطة، ما أوقف عمليات التحميل تماماً.
وغادرت السفينة فارغة بعد ساعات من التوتر، وسط تهديدات من الشركة المالكة التي نفت الشحنة، لكن النقابات أكدت أنها جزء من سلسلة توريد أسلحة لإسرائيل.
أجواء احتفالية
سرعان ما تحول الغضب إلى فرحة جماعية حيث خرجت المسيرة من الميناء، ومرت بجسر إثيوبيا وصولاً إلى ميدان دي فيراري في وسط المدينة، وسط أجواء احتفالية تشمل الموسيقى، والطبول، والأعلام الفلسطينية المرفوعة مع لافتات إيطالية.
وشارك في المسيرة الاحتفالية التي رفعت شعارات مؤيدة للفلسطينيين أكثر من 40 ألف شخص، بما في ذلك عمال الميناء، ونشطاء من أسطول الصمود الذي انطلق من جنوة لكسر الحصار على غزة، وممثلون عن نقابات أوروبية، رغم ما يواجهه العمال من تحديات، إذ بدأ المدعي العام في جنوة تحقيقاً حول مخالفة قوانين التصدير، وسط مخاوف من قوانين أمنية جديدة في يونيو الماضي تُطيل أحكام السجن للاحتجاجات.
ويعد ميناء جنوة، أحد أكبر الموانئ في البحر الأبيض المتوسط وإيطاليا بطاقة حوالى 2.5 مليون حاوية سنوياً، وأصبح رمزاً للمقاومة العمالية ضد تجارة الأسلحة المرتبطة بالنزاع في غزة منذ اندلاع الحرب في أكتوبر 2023، التي أسفرت عن مقتل أكثر من 66 ألف فلسطيني، وفقاً لوزارة الصحة في غزة.
وتعتبر هذه التحركات جزءاً من حملة عالمية أطلقها الاتحاد العام لنقابات العمال الفلسطينيين في أكتوبر 2023، حثت فيها العمال على رفض دورهم في سلسلة توريد الأسلحة لإسرائيل، وتكررت في موانئ مثل مارسيليا - فرنسا، حيث حظرت 14 طناً من أجزاء المدافع في يونيو 2025، والسويد وكندا.
The historic streets of Genoa, Italy, turned into a scene of massive celebration, as thousands of workers and supporters marched from the city’s port to its center, holding banners reading "No to the trade of death" and "Gaza will not die," celebrating their success in thwarting an Israeli military shipment that was about to be loaded onto a ship heading to Haifa.
The military shipment consisted of 10 containers containing explosives and weapon parts, as confirmed by the unions, marking a significant blow to the international supply chain for the Israeli occupation army.

The story began early in the morning at the Spinelli terminal in the port of Genoa, one of the largest ports in the Mediterranean, when union workers received intelligence from Greek and French unions about the arrival of a ship carrying an Israeli military shipment. Without hesitation, the workers declared an immediate strike and occupied the terminal, completely halting loading operations.
The ship left empty after hours of tension, amid threats from the owning company, which denied the shipment, but the unions confirmed that it was part of a supply chain of weapons to Israel.
Festive Atmosphere
Quickly, anger turned into collective joy as the march left the port, passing over the Ethiopia Bridge to reach Piazza De Ferrari in the city center, amidst a festive atmosphere that included music, drums, and Palestinian flags raised alongside Italian banners.
More than 40,000 people participated in the celebratory march, which raised pro-Palestinian slogans, including port workers, activists from the Fleet of Resilience that set out from Genoa to break the siege on Gaza, and representatives from European unions, despite the challenges faced by the workers, as the public prosecutor in Genoa began an investigation into violations of export laws, amid fears of new security laws last June that lengthen prison sentences for protests.
The port of Genoa, one of the largest ports in the Mediterranean and Italy, with a capacity of about 2.5 million containers annually, has become a symbol of labor resistance against the arms trade linked to the conflict in Gaza since the outbreak of the war in October 2023, which has resulted in the deaths of more than 66,000 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
These movements are part of a global campaign launched by the General Union of Palestinian Workers' Unions in October 2023, urging workers to reject their role in the supply chain of arms to Israel, and have been echoed in ports such as Marseille - France, where 14 tons of artillery parts were banned in June 2025, as well as in Sweden and Canada.
