داهمت السلطات الفرنسية مقر منظمة «إس أو إس مسيحيو الشرق» (SOS Chrétiens d'Orient) غير الحكومية هذا الأسبوع في إطار تحقيقات مستمرة منذ نهاية عام 2020، حول الاشتباه في التواطؤ في ارتكاب جرائم ضد الإنسانية وجرائم حرب في سورية.
مداهمة عدة منظمات
وقالت النيابة العامة الفرنسية لمكافحة الإرهاب، أمس (السبت): «جرت عمليات دهم عديدة لمنظمات، من بينها منظمة إس أو إس مسيحيو الشرق، وشركات ومنازل أفراد، فضلاً عن جلسات استماع متعددة لشهود أو متهمين»، مؤكدة معلومات كانت قد نشرتها إذاعة «فرانس إنفو» العامة.
وأفات مصادر قانونية بأن تحقيق المكتب المركزي لمكافحة الجرائم ضد الإنسانية والإبادة الجماعية وجرائم الحرب (OCLCH)، يهدف إلى تحديد ما إذا كانت المنظمة غير الحكومية دفعت جزءاً من الأموال التي تجمعها إلى قوات الدفاع الوطني، وهي فصائل موالية للرئيس السوري المخلوع بشار الأسد، تتهمها منظمات غير حكومية سورية بنهب قرى، وقصف المدنيين، وتدريب أطفال للقتال في سورية.
تفتيش شامل واستجواب
وأعلن رئيس المنظمة شارل دو ميير أن عمليات التفتيش طالت خصوصاً جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص به، لافتا إلى أنه تم استجوابه خلال جلسة استماع.
وذكرت إذاعة «فرانس إنفو»، أن عناصر مكتب OCLCH فتشت مكاتب الجمعية في بولون بيانكور قرب باريس على مدى ثلاثة أيام، إضافة إلى مكاتب في كوربيفوا وفي العاصمة باريس، وشركتين في إيل إي فيلان شمال غرب فرنسا ومقر في إيسون قرب باريس.
المنظمة تنفي التورط
وكان موقع «ميديابار» وإذاعة «فرانس إنفو» أعلنا أن التحقيق يهدف إلى تحديد مسار الأموال التي جمعتها المنظمة ودورها المحتمل في دعم فصائل النظام السوري السابق.
ونفت المنظمة بعد نشر تحقيق ميديابار بداية عام 2022، تورطها في أي جريمة على الإطلاق، مؤكدة أن نشاطها يركز على مساعدة المسيحيين الذين وقعوا ضحايا الاضطهاد العنيف، خصوصاً على أيدي عناصر تنظيم داعش.
The French authorities raided the headquarters of the non-governmental organization "SOS Chrétiens d'Orient" (SOS Christians of the East) this week as part of an investigation ongoing since the end of 2020, regarding suspicions of complicity in committing crimes against humanity and war crimes in Syria.
Raids on Several Organizations
The French public prosecutor's office for combating terrorism stated yesterday (Saturday): "Multiple raids were conducted on organizations, including SOS Chrétiens d'Orient, as well as on companies and individuals' homes, in addition to several hearings for witnesses or suspects," confirming information previously published by the public radio "France Info."
Legal sources reported that the investigation by the Central Office for the Fight Against Crimes Against Humanity, Genocide, and War Crimes (OCLCH) aims to determine whether the NGO transferred part of the funds it raised to the National Defense Forces, which are factions loyal to the ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, accused by Syrian NGOs of looting villages, shelling civilians, and training children to fight in Syria.
Thorough Searches and Interrogation
The head of the organization, Charles de Meyer, announced that the searches particularly targeted his computer, noting that he was interrogated during a hearing.
France Info reported that OCLCH agents searched the association's offices in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris for three days, in addition to offices in Courbevoie and in the capital Paris, and two companies in Île-de-France in northwestern France and a headquarters in Essonne near Paris.
The Organization Denies Involvement
The website "Mediapart" and France Info announced that the investigation aims to trace the funds raised by the organization and its potential role in supporting factions of the former Syrian regime.
The organization denied any involvement in any crime whatsoever after the publication of a Mediapart investigation in early 2022, asserting that its activities focus on helping Christians who have fallen victim to violent persecution, particularly at the hands of ISIS elements.
