American and Israeli media have revealed details of President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza and prepare the conditions for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

According to the "Times of Israel," the plan has been shared with several Arab and Islamic countries on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.

The plan encourages Palestinians to remain in Gaza, which is seen as a significant shift in the Trump administration's stance, especially after the controversy in February when the American president spoke about the intention to control the territory and resettle its inhabitants abroad.

Diverse Positions and Potential Challenges

The plan includes a series of political, economic, and security measures, including the cessation of Israeli military operations, prisoner exchanges, the formation of a transitional Palestinian government, and comprehensive reconstruction of the territory, as well as steps that pave the way for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The Israeli newspaper considered that some provisions of the plan are attractive to Palestinians, especially those related to reconstruction and the future state; however, it also includes conditions described as difficult, the most prominent of which is the disarmament of Hamas and its exclusion from governance, which may complicate acceptance of the plan. The provisions related to the establishment of a Palestinian state are expected to provoke strong opposition from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Contents of the American Plan

Trump's plan includes about 21 points, which are:

1- Making Gaza a region free from extremism and terrorism.

2- Reconstructing the devastated territory.

3- Ending the war after both parties agree to the plan and starting the gradual Israeli withdrawal.

4- Returning hostages and the bodies of the dead within 48 hours of Israel's public acceptance of the agreement.

5- Releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, and more than 1,000 detainees from Gaza since the beginning of the war, and handing over the bodies of hundreds of Palestinians.

6- Conditional amnesty for Hamas members and facilitating those who wish to leave.

7- Flow of aid to Gaza of about (600 trucks daily), along with rehabilitating infrastructure and allowing debris removal equipment to enter.

8- The United Nations, the Red Crescent, and neutral international organizations will distribute aid without interference from any party.

9- Gaza will be managed by a temporary transitional government composed of Palestinian technocrats, under the supervision of a new international body led by Washington in cooperation with Arab and European partners, until the reforms of the Palestinian Authority are completed.

10- Formulating an economic plan for rebuilding Gaza.

11- Establishing an economic zone with reduced taxes and fees.

12- No forced displacement of Palestinians.

13- Disarming Hamas and preventing it from ruling.

14- Providing security guarantees from regional countries to ensure compliance from all parties.

15- Forming a temporary international stabilization force led by American and Arab leadership to oversee security and train local Palestinian police.

16- Gradual withdrawal of the Israeli army.

17- Partial implementation of the plan in case Hamas rejects it.

18- Israel's commitment not to launch strikes in the territory.

19- Launching programs to dismantle extremist ideologies.

20- Opening a pathway towards a future Palestinian state.

21- Initiating a political dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians.
