أفصحت صحيفة «فاينانشيال تايمز» البريطانية أن رئيس الوزراء السابق توني بلير، يخطط للعب دور بارز في إدارة قطاع غزة بعد انتهاء حرب الإبادة الإسرائيلية.
وكشفت الصحيفة أن بلير يبحث مع ترمب خطط ما بعد الحرب، إذ قدّم الرئيس الأمريكي الأسبوع الحالي، أحدث مقترحاته لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة وطريقة إدارة القطاع المنكوب في فترة انتقالية.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر مطلع قوله: إن بلير يرغب في الانضمام إلى هيئة الإشراف، إذ طُرح اسمه كرئيس لمجلس إدارة السلطة الانتقالية الدولية في غزة، موضحا أن الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تتطلع إلى أن يلعب دورا في الترتيب الانتقالي.
وأفادت المصادر بأن بلير حضر اجتماعا في البيت الأبيض الشهر الماضي، لمناقشة خطط ما بعد الحرب، برفقة صهر الرئيس الأمريكي ومستشاره لشؤون الشرق الأوسط خلال فترة ولايته الأولى جاريد كوشنر.
مقترحات أمريكية لإدارة غزة
وشملت مقترحات ترمب إنشاء لجنة فلسطينية لإدارة القطاع الذي دمرته الحرب، والتي ستُشرف عليها هيئة إشراف دولية، وتتضمن عناصر من خطط أوروبية وعربية مختلفة، بما في ذلك لجنة فلسطينية لإدارة غزة بإشراف دولي ونشر قوة استقرار دولية للمساعدة في إدارة الأمن، مع استبعاد تهجير قسري لسكان غزة.
وبموجب المقترحات الأمريكية ستدفع الولايات المتحدة من أجل وقف إطلاق نار دائم، مع إطلاق سراح جميع المحتجزين المتبقين لدى حماس والذين يُعتقد أن نحو 20 منهم لا يزالون أحياء.
وستعيد القوات الإسرائيلية في غزة انتشارها إلى المواقع التي احتلتها خلال وقف إطلاق النار المؤقت بين يناير ومارس، وتنسحب بالكامل من القطاع بمجرد وجود قوة استقرار.
يذكر أن العديد من الدول الأوروبية والعربية تعارض فكرة «الوصاية الدولية»، لأنها «ستُهمّش الفلسطينيين وتفتقر إلى الشرعية»، إذ تجادل بأن قطاع غزة يجب أن يدار من قِبل لجنة من التكنوقراط الفلسطينيين، بموافقة السلطة الفلسطينية التي تُدير أجزاء محدودة من الضفة الغربية المحتلة.
وشغل رئيس الوزراء البريطاني السابق منصب مبعوث الشرق الأوسط بعد مغادرته «داونينج ستريت»، ويعمل بصفته الشخصية منذ أشهر على الترويج لخطة لوصاية دولية تحكم غزة بعد انتهاء الحرب.
The British newspaper "Financial Times" revealed that former Prime Minister Tony Blair is planning to play a prominent role in managing the Gaza Strip after the end of the Israeli genocide war.
The newspaper disclosed that Blair is discussing post-war plans with Trump, as the American president presented his latest proposals for a ceasefire in Gaza and a way to manage the devastated sector during a transitional period this week.
The newspaper quoted an informed source saying that Blair wishes to join the supervisory body, as his name has been proposed as the head of the board of the international transitional authority in Gaza, explaining that the United States is looking for him to play a role in the transitional arrangement.
Sources reported that Blair attended a meeting at the White House last month to discuss post-war plans, alongside the American president's son-in-law and Middle East advisor during his first term, Jared Kushner.
American Proposals for Gaza Management
Trump's proposals included the establishment of a Palestinian committee to manage the war-torn sector, which would be overseen by an international supervisory body, incorporating elements from various European and Arab plans, including a Palestinian committee to manage Gaza under international supervision and the deployment of an international stabilization force to assist in managing security, while excluding the forced displacement of Gaza's residents.
Under the American proposals, the United States will push for a permanent ceasefire, with the release of all remaining detainees held by Hamas, of whom about 20 are believed to still be alive.
The Israeli forces in Gaza will redeploy to the sites they occupied during the temporary ceasefire between January and March, and will fully withdraw from the sector once a stabilization force is in place.
It is worth noting that many European and Arab countries oppose the idea of "international guardianship," as it "will marginalize the Palestinians and lack legitimacy," arguing that the Gaza Strip should be managed by a committee of Palestinian technocrats, with the approval of the Palestinian Authority, which manages limited areas of the occupied West Bank.
The former British Prime Minister served as the Middle East envoy after leaving "Downing Street," and has been personally working for months to promote a plan for international guardianship to govern Gaza after the war ends.
