رفض مسؤول في حركة طالبان طلب الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب تسليم قاعدة باغرام الجوية التي تقع على بعد نحو 50 كيلومتراً شمال العاصمة الأفغانية كابول.
وذكر المسؤول في تصريحات صحفية أن حصول واشنطن على هذه القاعدة «أشبه بالمستحيل»، مؤكداً أن كلمة الفصل بشأن قاعدة باغرام تعود لزعيم طالبان.
اتفاق الدوحة
وأشار إلى أن أمريكا تعهدت خلال اتفاق الدوحة بعدم استخدام القوة أو التهديد ضد سيادة أفغانستان، مبيناً أن عملية تسليم قاعدة باغرام الجوية إلى الجانب الأمريكي قضية معقّدة للغاية، فالحركة التي قاتلت القوات الأمريكية على مدى عقدين كاملين، ترى في باغرام «رمزاً لسيادتها».
مخاوف أفغانية
وشدد المسؤول الأفغاني بالقول: حتى لو قدّمت إدارة ترمب وعوداً اقتصادية وأمنية لبعض قادة طالبان بهدف استمالتهم، إلا أن كلمة الفصل تعود إلى زعيم طالبان ملا هبة الله آخوندزاده، لافتاً إلى أن معظم القادة في طالبان لا يأخذون كلام ترمب على محمل الجد، ويعتقدون أنها شبيهة بتصريحاته حول أوكرانيا وكندا وغيرها.
فيما ذكرت وسائل إعلام عربية أن هناك مخاوف كبيرة داخل حكومة طالبان من أن تدعم الولايات المتحدة معارضي الحركة، وتقدم الدعم العسكري والمالي للجبهات المناهضة لطالبان، مبينة أن عدداً من مسؤولي طالبان نقلوا إلى زعيمهم مخاوفهم، ويسعون لإقناعه بتنفيذ إصلاحات حكومية.
تهديدات ترمب
وأكدت مصادر أفغانية أن السخط الداخلي يتزايد بشكل غير مسبوق، وأصبح من السهل أن ينضموا إلى الجبهات المناهضة للحركة.
وكان ترمب أعلن قبل يومين أن بلاده تنوي استعادة قاعدة باغرام، دون أن يفصح عما إذا كان ينوي إرسال قوات أمريكية إلى هناك، ملوحاً بأمور سيئة قد تحدث إن لم تتجاوب حكومة طالبان مع طلبه هذا.

The official stated in press remarks that it would be "almost impossible" for Washington to obtain this base, emphasizing that the final word regarding Bagram Air Base belongs to the Taliban leader.
Doha Agreement
He pointed out that America committed during the Doha Agreement not to use force or threats against Afghanistan's sovereignty, indicating that the process of handing over Bagram Air Base to the U.S. side is a very complicated issue, as the movement that fought U.S. forces for two full decades sees Bagram as a "symbol of its sovereignty."
Afghan Concerns
The Afghan official stressed that even if the Trump administration offered economic and security promises to some Taliban leaders in an attempt to sway them, the final word rests with Taliban leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, noting that most leaders in the Taliban do not take Trump's words seriously and believe they are similar to his statements about Ukraine, Canada, and others.
Meanwhile, Arab media reported that there are significant concerns within the Taliban government that the United States might support the movement's opponents and provide military and financial assistance to anti-Taliban fronts, indicating that several Taliban officials conveyed their concerns to their leader and are seeking to persuade him to implement governmental reforms.
Trump's Threats
Afghan sources confirmed that internal discontent is rising unprecedentedly, making it easier for individuals to join the anti-Taliban fronts.
Two days ago, Trump announced that his country intends to reclaim Bagram Air Base, without revealing whether he plans to send U.S. troops there, hinting at bad things that could happen if the Taliban government does not respond to his request.
