يترقب الشارع الفلسطيني والعربي على وجه العموم خلال الـ 48 ساعة القادمة قرارات حاسمة لصالح القضية الفلسطينية وتحقيق السلام الدائم والشامل، وذلك قبيل وأثناء مؤتمر حل الدولتين الذي سينعقد في مقر الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الثمانين (الإثنين) والذي سينعقد برئاسة السعودية وفرنسا.
وتستضيف
المملكة على هامش انعقاد أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الثمانين، عدداً من المبادرات والاجتماعات التي تهدف لتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والعالمي، وتعزيز الجهود الدبلوماسية والإنسانية والتنموية، وستترأس المملكة المؤتمر الدولي الرفيع المستوى من أجل التسوية السلمية للقضية الفلسطينية وتنفيذ حل الدولتين على مستوى القادة، وكذلك الاجتماع الوزاري الرفيع المستوى للتحالف الدولي لتنفيذ حل الدولتين.
البرتغال تعترف غداً
وأعلنت وزارة الخارجية البرتغالية أمس (الجمعة) أن بلادها ستعترف رسمياً غداً (الأحد) بدولة فلسطين، ومن المقرر أن تعترف اكثر من 10 دول بفلسطين.
وقال مستشار للرئيس إيمانويل ماكرون: إن 10 دول قررت، الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين، ستشارك في مؤتمر حل الدولتين (الإثنين) على هامش اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة.
وأشارت الرئاسة الفرنسية إلى أن حكومات عدة دول منها بريطانيا وفرنسا وكندا وأستراليا وبلجيكا ولوكسمبورغ والبرتغال ومالطا وأندورا وسان مارينو ستعترف بفلسطين خلال مؤتمر حل الدولتين، مبينة أن ماكرون سيلقي كلمة يعلن فيها رسمياً الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية خلال المؤتمر الذي يتشارك رئاسته مع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان الذي سيتحدث عبر اتصال بالفيديو.
مطالبات بالاعتراف في الكونغرس
وكان أعضاء في مجلس الشيوخ الأمريكي، قد طرحوا الخميس، أول قرار يحثّ على الاعتراف بدولة فلسطينية، في إشارة إلى تغير المواقف تجاه إسرائيل بعد مرور نحو عامين على اندلاع الحرب في قطاع غزة، لكن هذا الإجراء لا يزال يلقى عقبات في ظل تمتع الجمهوريين بأغلبية 53 صوتا مقابل 47.
ويرى مراقبون سياسيون أن اليومين القادمين ستكون حاسمة، وستمثل دعماً قوياً للقضية الفلسطينية ولبناء الدولة وإنهاء الاحتلال وتحقيق السلام الدائم والشامل للشعب الفلسطيني.
يذكر أن هناك 147 دولة، من أصل 193 دولة عضو في الأمم المتحدة معترفة بالدولة الفلسطينية.

Kingdom will host a number of initiatives and meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in its eightieth session, aimed at enhancing regional and global security and stability, and strengthening diplomatic, humanitarian, and developmental efforts. The Kingdom will also chair the high-level international conference for the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution at the leaders' level, as well as the high-level ministerial meeting of the international coalition to implement the two-state solution.
Portugal to Recognize Tomorrow
The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday (Friday) that the country will officially recognize the State of Palestine tomorrow (Sunday), and more than 10 countries are expected to recognize Palestine.
A consultant to President Emmanuel Macron stated that 10 countries have decided to recognize the State of Palestine and will participate in the two-state solution conference (Monday) on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.
The French presidency indicated that several countries, including the UK, France, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Malta, Andorra, and San Marino, will recognize Palestine during the two-state solution conference, noting that Macron will deliver a speech officially announcing the recognition of the Palestinian state during the conference, which he co-chairs with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who will speak via video call.
Calls for Recognition in Congress
Members of the U.S. Senate proposed on Thursday the first resolution urging recognition of a Palestinian state, signaling a shift in positions towards Israel nearly two years after the outbreak of war in Gaza. However, this measure still faces obstacles due to the Republicans holding a majority of 53 votes to 47.
Political observers believe that the next two days will be crucial, representing strong support for the Palestinian cause, building the state, ending the occupation, and achieving lasting and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian people.
It is worth noting that there are 147 countries, out of 193 member states in the United Nations, that recognize the Palestinian state.
