وقع وزيرا خارجية سورية أسعد الشيباني والأردني أيمن الصفدي والمبعوث الأمريكي توم براك اليوم (الثلاثاء)، اتفاقا حول السويداء.
وكشف وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني في مؤتمر صحفي مشترك مع نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية الأردني والمبعوث الأمريكي خريطة طريق بشأن السويداء تتضمن سبع نقاط بدعم من الأردن وأمريكا.
خريطة طريق
وقال الشيباني: «وضعنا خريطة طريق واضحة حول السويداء بدعم من الأردن والولايات المتحدة، معلناً إطلاق مسار للمصالحة الداخلية في السويداء يشارك فيه كل أبناء المحافظة».
وأشار إلى أن خريطة الطريق تتضمن محاسبة كل من ارتكب انتهاكات في السويداء، وتتضمن نشر قوات أمن من أبناء المحافظة، مبيناً أنه سيتم نشر قوات محلية من وزارة الداخلية في المحافظة لتأمين الطرق التجارية والسكان.
واعتبر الشيباني ما يطرحه اليوم بأنه مصلحة كل سورية، مشيراً إلى أن السويداء لكل مكوناتها ومن واجب الدولة أن تسهل عودة الجميع.
موقف أردني
من جهته، قال وزير الخارجية الأردني أيمن الصفدي إن الأردن يقف بالمطلق مع سورية، مضيفاً: عملنا بشكل مكثف على مدار أسابيع لحل أزمة السويداء.
وأشار إلى أن أمن الجنوب السوري هو امتداد لأمن الأردن، معرباً عن أمله في دعم المصالحة في السويداء على الأسس التي تحفظ أمن وسيادة سورية.
وأضاف: «نعمل بتنسيق كامل مع الأشقاء في سورية ونريد لسورية أن تستقر، معرباً عن إدانته للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية في سورية وجنوبها».
ولفت إلى أن كل الدول العربية والمجتمع الدولي يقف مع سورية مستقرة وموحدة.
خطر إسرائيل
وشدد الصفدي بالقول: «نعمل من أجل أن يستقر الجنوب السوري لأن استقراره يؤثر علينا في الأردن، موضحاً أن إسرائيل هي الجهة الوحيدة التي تريد تقسيم سورية وتدعم مشاريع الانفصال».
وحذر وزير الخارجية الأردني من خطورة دعم العنف قائلاً: «على إسرائيل أن تفهم أمنها واستقرارها يأتي من خلال احترام أمن واستقرار الآخرين».
وأشار إلى أن خريطة الطريق في السويداء تلبي احتياجات إسرائيل الأمنية أيضا، مجدداً رفضه لتقسيم سورية، وقال إن هذا ليس موقف الأردن وحده بل موقف عربي ودولي، خصوصاً أن استقرار سورية هو ضمان لأمن واستقرار المنطقة.
دعم أمريكي
من جهته، قال المبعوث الأمريكي توم براك: «الولايات المتحدة ملتزمة بمواصلة دعم الحكومة السورية، مبيناً أن سورية ذات تاريخ عريق يحكمها حكومة تسعى للازدهار والخطوات التي تتخذها اليوم تاريخية».
وأضاف: «بناء الثقة عملية تحدث بشكل بطيء لكنها تدوم لسنوات طويلة، لافتاً إلى أنه ساعد سورية والأردن في الاتفاق على خريطة طريق بشأن السويداء لكننا سنواجه بعض المطبات وسيكون هناك بعض المحطات على طريق حل أزمة المحافظة».
وأشار إلى أن واشنطن تريد أن تدعم سورية لاستغلال مواردها الخاصة، موضحاً أنه وقع على هذا الاتفاق نيابة عن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب.
Syria's Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, along with U.S. envoy Tom Brack, signed an agreement regarding Suwayda today (Tuesday).
During a joint press conference with the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the U.S. envoy, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani revealed a roadmap concerning Suwayda that includes seven points supported by Jordan and the U.S.
Roadmap
Al-Shibani stated, “We have established a clear roadmap regarding Suwayda with the support of Jordan and the United States, announcing the launch of a path for internal reconciliation in Suwayda that involves all the people of the governorate.”
He noted that the roadmap includes holding accountable all those who have committed violations in Suwayda and involves deploying security forces from the local population, indicating that local forces from the Ministry of Interior will be deployed in the governorate to secure trade routes and the residents.
Al-Shibani considered what is being proposed today to be in the interest of all of Syria, pointing out that Suwayda belongs to all its components and that it is the state's duty to facilitate the return of everyone.
Jordanian Position
For his part, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated that Jordan stands firmly with Syria, adding, “We have worked intensively over the past weeks to resolve the Suwayda crisis.”
He pointed out that the security of southern Syria is an extension of Jordan's security, expressing hope for support for reconciliation in Suwayda on the foundations that preserve Syria's security and sovereignty.
He added, “We are working in full coordination with our brothers in Syria and we want Syria to stabilize, condemning Israeli attacks in Syria and its south.”
He noted that all Arab countries and the international community stand with a stable and united Syria.
The Danger of Israel
Safadi emphasized, saying, “We are working to stabilize southern Syria because its stability affects us in Jordan,” clarifying that Israel is the only party that wants to divide Syria and supports secessionist projects.
The Jordanian Foreign Minister warned of the dangers of supporting violence, stating, “Israel must understand that its security and stability come from respecting the security and stability of others.”
He pointed out that the roadmap in Suwayda also meets Israel's security needs, reiterating his rejection of the division of Syria, and said that this is not just Jordan's position but an Arab and international stance, especially since Syria's stability is a guarantee for the security and stability of the region.
U.S. Support
For his part, U.S. envoy Tom Brack stated, “The United States is committed to continuing to support the Syrian government, noting that Syria has a rich history governed by a government that seeks prosperity and that the steps being taken today are historic.”
He added, “Building trust is a slow process but lasts for many years,” pointing out that he helped Syria and Jordan agree on a roadmap regarding Suwayda but that we will face some bumps and there will be some stops on the road to resolving the governorate's crisis.
He indicated that Washington wants to support Syria in utilizing its own resources, explaining that he signed this agreement on behalf of U.S. President Donald Trump.
