فيما اتهم الجيش السوري قوات سورية الديموقراطية «قسد»، باستهداف مواقع انتشاره في محيط منطقة عين العرب شمال شرقي مدينة حلب، بأكثر من 25 مسيرة انتحارية، شدد المتحدث باسم الداخلية السورية نورالدين البابا، أن الدولة لا تريد جر البلاد إلى صراع داخلي.
وقال البابا في تصريح، اليوم (الإثنين): إن الدولة السورية تمهلت في دخول المناطق الكردية لتتجنب جر البلاد إلى اقتتال داخلي. وشدد على أن «قسد» تسوق للصراع عرقياً عبر إعلامها بين العرب والأكراد. واعتبر أن القوات الكردية تدفع للاقتتال الداخلي، وتمارس التضليل على السكان في المناطق التي تسيطر عليها، مروجة إلى أن هناك من يستهدف الأكراد بناء على دوافع عرقية.
وأكد أن الأولوية بالنسبة للدولة السورية هي الحفاظ على التفاهمات (في إشارة إلى اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار)، وتغليب الحل السياسي والدبلوماسي.
ولفت إلى أن استعمال القوة أتى من أجل فرض الحلول السياسية التي وافقت عليها سابقاً قسد، في إشارة إلى المواجهات التي اندلعت خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين بين الجيش والقوات الكردية.
من جانبه، اعتبر معاون وزير الداخلية السوري عبدالقادر طحان أن تمديد الهدنة مع قسد أتى من أجل إتاحة الفرصة لتطبيق الاتفاق والاندماج بالدولة.
وكان الجيش السوري اتهم قوات سورية الديموقراطية مساء أمس الأحد باستهداف مواقع انتشاره في محيط منطقة عين العرب، واستهداف طريق رئيسي. وأكد أنه يدرس خياراته الميدانية حالياً رداً على استهداف الأهالي ومواقع انتشاره.
في المقابل، زعمت قوات سورية الديموقراطية أن دمشق تواصل ارتكاب انتهاكات خطيرة ومتكررة في عين العرب وفي شمال وشرق البلاد، معتبرة إياها خرقاً واضحاً وصريحاً لبنود اتفاق وقف النار.
وأعلنت أنها «صدت هجوماً برياً» على قرية خراب عشق في جنوب شرق عين العرب، تزامن مع قصف مدفعي كثيف.
وانسحبت قوات قسد منذ نهاية الأسبوع الماضي من محافظتي الرقة (شمال) ودير الزور، مقابل تقدّم للقوات الحكومية التي باتت على تخوم عين العرب الواقعة في أقصى شمال محافظة حلب قرب الحدود مع تركيا، المعزولة عن بقية مناطق القوات الكردية التي انسحبت إلى معقلها في الحسكة (شمال شرق). فيما ادعت القوات الكردية أن الجيش السوري يفرض حصاراً على المدينة.
The Syrian army accused the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) of targeting its deployment sites around the Ayn al-Arab area northeast of Aleppo city with more than 25 suicide drones. The spokesperson for the Syrian Interior Ministry, Nour al-Din al-Baba, emphasized that the state does not want to drag the country into internal conflict.
Al-Baba stated in a statement today (Monday) that the Syrian state has been patient in entering Kurdish areas to avoid dragging the country into internal fighting. He stressed that the SDF is promoting ethnic conflict through its media between Arabs and Kurds. He considered that the Kurdish forces are pushing for internal fighting and misleading the residents in the areas they control, promoting the idea that there are those targeting the Kurds based on ethnic motives.
He confirmed that the priority for the Syrian state is to maintain understandings (referring to the ceasefire agreement) and to favor a political and diplomatic solution.
He pointed out that the use of force was aimed at imposing the political solutions that the SDF had previously agreed to, referring to the clashes that erupted in the past two weeks between the army and the Kurdish forces.
For his part, the Assistant Minister of Interior, Abdul Qader Tahan, considered that extending the truce with the SDF was to provide an opportunity to implement the agreement and integrate into the state.
The Syrian army accused the Syrian Democratic Forces on Sunday evening of targeting its deployment sites around the Ayn al-Arab area and targeting a main road. It confirmed that it is currently studying its field options in response to the targeting of civilians and its deployment sites.
In contrast, the Syrian Democratic Forces claimed that Damascus continues to commit serious and repeated violations in Ayn al-Arab and in the north and east of the country, considering it a clear and explicit breach of the ceasefire agreement.
They announced that they had "repelled a ground attack" on the village of Kharab Ashq in the southeast of Ayn al-Arab, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling.
The SDF withdrew since the end of last week from the Raqqa (north) and Deir ez-Zor provinces, in exchange for advances by government forces, which have now reached the outskirts of Ayn al-Arab located in the far north of Aleppo province near the border with Turkey, isolated from other areas of the Kurdish forces that have withdrawn to their stronghold in Hasakah (northeast). Meanwhile, the Kurdish forces claimed that the Syrian army is imposing a siege on the city.
