أعلن الجيش اللبناني اليوم (السبت)، عن إصابة ٣ عسكريين، نتيجة محاولة ربان سفينة الفرار بها بطريقة غير شرعية من ميناء الضبية، وأوقف 22 شخصاً كانوا على متنها.
وقال الجيش اللبناني في بيان على حسابه في «إكس» إنه خلال الليلة الماضية وردة معلومات إلى غرفة العمليات البحرية المشتركة التابعة للقوات البحرية في الجيش، وبناء على إشارة القضاء المختص، باشرت دورية من القوات البحرية تنفيذ عملية مطاردة السفينة (Hawk lll) أثناء محاولتها مغادرة المياه الإقليمية اللبنانية بطريقة غير قانونية، موضحاً ونتيجة عدم امتثال طاقم السفينة لأوامر الدورية، أطلق عناصر الجيش طلقات تحذيرية في الهواء، ونفّذت وحدة من فوج مغاوير البحر عملية إنزال نوعية على السفينة بالاشتراك مع القوات الجوية.
التحقيق مع الموقفين
وأوضح الجيش أنه جرى إيقاف ٢٢ شخصاً كانوا على متن السفينة على مسافة نحو ٣٠ ميلًا بحرياً من الشاطئ اللبناني، ثم أعادتها إلى مرفأ ضبية، موضحاً أنه أثناء عملية تنفيذ العملية أصيب 3 عسكريين.
وأشار إلى أنه باشر التحقيق مع الموقوفين، وسيُجرى اللازم بشأن السفينة بإشراف القضاء المختص.
The Lebanese army announced today (Saturday) that 3 soldiers were injured as a result of an attempt by the captain of a ship to escape illegally from the port of Dbayeh, and 22 people on board were arrested.
The Lebanese army stated in a message on its account on "X" that during the night, information was received by the joint maritime operations room of the naval forces in the army. Based on a signal from the competent judiciary, a patrol from the naval forces began pursuing the ship (Hawk lll) as it attempted to leave Lebanese territorial waters illegally. It clarified that due to the crew's non-compliance with the patrol's orders, army personnel fired warning shots into the air, and a unit from the Marine Commandos executed a special landing operation on the ship in coordination with the air force.
Investigation with the detainees
The army explained that 22 individuals on board the ship were detained approximately 30 nautical miles from the Lebanese shore, and they were then returned to the port of Dbayeh, noting that during the operation, 3 soldiers were injured.
It indicated that an investigation with the detainees has begun, and necessary actions regarding the ship will be taken under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
