فيما قتل 39 شخصاً بنيران جيش الاحتلال منذ فجر اليوم (الخميس)، دمرت غارات إسرائيلية 8 منازل في مخيم الشاطئ غربي مدينة غزة.
وقال الدفاع المدني الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة إنه انتشل جثماني قتيلين تعرضا لقصف إسرائيلي وسط مدينة خان يونس، في حين تم إجلاء 40 فلسطينياً، بينهم مصابون حاصرتهم قوات الاحتلال في بلدة بني سهيلا منذ أسابيع.
إعلان حرب
من جهة أخرى، أكدت حركة حماس أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو وحكومته تجاوزوا كل القوانين والأعراف الدولية باستهداف قطر، مؤكدة في خطاب ألقاه فوزي برهوم أن الهجوم على قطر بمثابة إعلان حرب من إسرائيل على المنطقة.
وأشارت إلى أن الهجوم الإسرائيلي على قطر يعرّض الأمن الإقليمي للخطر، مبينة أن محاولة إسرائيل الفاشلة اغتيال وفد الحركة تعكس البحث عن انتصار وهمي.
ولفتت إلى أن إسرائيل لن تنجح في التأثير على مواقف الحركة، مبينة أنها تتعمد إفشال الوساطة القطرية المصرية لوقف الحرب. وأشار برهوم إلى أن زوجة خليل الحية وزوجة نجله أصيبتا بالهجوم الإسرائيلي في قطر.
عقوبات أوروبية
من جهة أخرى، قال المتحدث باسم المفوضية الأوروبية إن العقوبات المقترحة ضد إسرائيل سيتم رفعها للتصويت وسيتم الأخذ برأي الأغلبية، وذلك بعد يوم من إعلان رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين أن المفوضية ستقترح فرض عقوبات على الوزراء المتطرفين في إسرائيل.
وقالت فون دير لاين إن المفوضية ستقترح تعليقاً جزئياً لاتفاقية الشراكة مع إسرائيل بشأن المسائل المتعلقة بالتجارة، وتعليق الدعم الثنائي لإسرائيل، وإنشاء مجموعة مانحين للفلسطينيين الشهر القادم، وهي أداة مخصصة لإعادة إعمار غزة.
As 39 people were killed by the fire of the occupying army since dawn today (Thursday), Israeli airstrikes destroyed 8 homes in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip reported that it retrieved the bodies of two victims who were subjected to Israeli shelling in the center of Khan Younis, while 40 Palestinians, including injured individuals, were evacuated after being besieged by the occupation forces in the town of Bani Suheila for weeks.
Declaration of War
On another note, Hamas confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government have crossed all laws and international norms by targeting Qatar, asserting in a speech delivered by Fawzi Barhoum that the attack on Qatar is tantamount to a declaration of war by Israel on the region.
It pointed out that the Israeli attack on Qatar endangers regional security, indicating that Israel's failed attempt to assassinate the movement's delegation reflects a search for a fictitious victory.
It emphasized that Israel will not succeed in influencing the movement's positions, stating that it deliberately seeks to undermine the Qatari-Egyptian mediation to stop the war. Barhoum noted that the wife of Khalil Al-Hayya and the wife of his son were injured in the Israeli attack in Qatar.
European Sanctions
On another front, the spokesperson for the European Commission stated that the proposed sanctions against Israel will be put to a vote and the majority opinion will be taken into account, following a day after European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the Commission would propose sanctions on extremist ministers in Israel.
Von der Leyen stated that the Commission will propose a partial suspension of the partnership agreement with Israel regarding trade-related issues, the suspension of bilateral support for Israel, and the establishment of a donor group for the Palestinians next month, which is a tool dedicated to the reconstruction of Gaza.
