أعلنت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية فون دير لاين، اليوم (الأربعاء)، عزم الاتحاد الأوروبي فرض عقوبات على الوزراء المتطرفين في إسرائيل..
وقالت فون دير لاين في كلمة سنوية أمام البرلمان الأوروبي: مقترح لتعليق جزئي لاتفاقية الشراكة مع إسرائيل بشأن المسائل المتعلقة بالتجارة، مضيفة: «سنعلق دعمنا الثنائي لإسرائيل».
وأشارت رئيسة المفاوضية إلى أن ما يحدث في غزة هز ضمير العالم، موضحة أن التجويع المتعمد في غزة يجب ألا يستخدم أداة في الحرب ومن الضروري أن يتوقف.
ولفتت إلى أنهم سينشئون مجموعة مانحين للفلسطينيين الشهر القادم وأداة مخصصة لإعادة إعمار غزة.
بدورها، أكد رئيس الحكومة الإسبانية بيدرو سانشيز أن ما يحدث في غزة إبادة جماعية، مطالباً المجتمع الدولي والإنسانية العالمية بالتحرك لإنقاذ المدنيين في القطاع.
في غضون ذلك، شددت وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (أونروا) أن الإرادة السياسية ضرورية الآن لإنهاء الحرب في قطاع غزة.
جاء ذلك في الوقت الذي أصدر الجيش الإسرائيلي أوامر بإخلاء ميناء غزة وحي الرمال الجنوبي خصوصا برج «طيبة 2» والخيام المجاورة، زاعماً أن هناك بنية تحتية لحماس داخل أو بجوار البرج.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced today (Wednesday) the European Union's intention to impose sanctions on extremist ministers in Israel.

The Commission President pointed out that what is happening in Gaza has shaken the world's conscience, clarifying that the deliberate starvation in Gaza should not be used as a tool in war and that it must stop.
She noted that they will establish a donor group for the Palestinians next month and a dedicated tool for the reconstruction of Gaza.
For his part, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez confirmed that what is happening in Gaza is genocide, calling on the international community and global humanity to act to save civilians in the sector.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) emphasized that political will is now essential to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
