أعرب مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري عن إدانته الشديدة للقصف الإسرائيلي الغاشم على العاصمة القطرية الدوحة، باعتباره خرقا جسيما للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، واعتداء سافرا على سيادة دولة قطر وأمنها.
انتهاك جسيم لسيادة دولة عربية
وأكد المجلس، في بيانٍ أمس، الرفض المُطّلَق لهذا الاعتداء الإسرائيلي باعتباره انتهاكا جسيما لسيادة دولة عربية، وتصعيدا خطيرا وانتهاكا غير مقبول يهدد الأمن والسلم الدوليين، مُحذّرا من مغبة الخطوات التصعيدية الإسرائيلية التي تضع أمن واستقرار المنطقة على المحك.
تضامن كامل
وأعرب المجلس عن تضامنه الكامل مع دولة قطر وضمان استقرارها وسلامة مواطنيها وأراضيها، والدعم لأي إجراءات تتخذها لحماية أمنها وسيادتها.
مطالبة المجتمع الدولي بتحمل مسؤولياته
وطالب المجلس، المجتمع الدولي بتحمل مسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية، وإلزام إسرائيل بوقف تصعيدها الخطير في المنطقة، واعتداءاتها المتواصلة على دول المنطقة، والالتزام بقواعد القانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وقرارات الشرعية الدولية.
The Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level expressed its strong condemnation of the brutal Israeli bombing of the Qatari capital, Doha, considering it a grave violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a blatant assault on the sovereignty and security of the State of Qatar.
Serious Violation of the Sovereignty of an Arab State
The Council affirmed, in a statement yesterday, its absolute rejection of this Israeli aggression as a serious violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state, a dangerous escalation, and an unacceptable violation that threatens international peace and security, warning of the repercussions of Israeli escalation steps that put the security and stability of the region at risk.
Full Solidarity
The Council expressed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its commitment to ensuring its stability and the safety of its citizens and territory, supporting any measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty.
Calling on the International Community to Assume Its Responsibilities
The Council called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, to compel Israel to halt its dangerous escalation in the region, its ongoing aggressions against the countries of the region, and to adhere to the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, and international legitimacy resolutions.
