أدان رئيس البرلمان العربي محمد بن أحمد اليماحي، بأشد العبارات الهجمات العدوانية التي شنها كيان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على مدينة الدوحة بدولة قطر، مؤكدا أن هذا الاعتداء الغادر يمثل انتهاكا صارخا ومرفوضا للسيادة القطرية، وخرقا سافرا لميثاق الأمم المتحدة والقوانين والأعراف الدولية.
وأكد رئيس البرلمان العربي أن هذه الجريمة «الخطيرة النكراء» تُعد تهديدا مباشرا للأمن القومي العربي وللاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي، مشددا على تضامن البرلمان العربي الكامل مع دولة قطر قيادة وحكومة وشعبا في مواجهة هذا العدوان الغادر.
ودعا رئيس البرلمان العربي المجتمع الدولي، ومجلس الأمن، إلى تحمل مسؤولياتهم القانونية والأخلاقية لوقف اعتداءات كيان الاحتلال المتكررة ضد سيادة الدول ومحاسبته على جرائمه، محذرا من أن استمرار هذه السياسات العدوانية يعقد الموقف وينذر بمزيد من التصعيد ويفجر الأوضاع في المنطقة بأسرها.
وطالب رئيس البرلمان العربي بتحرك دولي عاجل لردع كيان الاحتلال الذي أصبح خارجا على كل القوانين والأعراف الدولية، ووقف جميع الانتهاكات التي يرتكبها، واتخاذ إجراءات حازمة وسريعة لحماية سيادة الدول وأمن شعوبها.
وأسفر الهجوم الإسرائيلي الذي أصاب مباني سكنية في حي كاتارا السياحي بالدوحة، عن إصابات وأضرار مادية كبيرة، مع مقتل خمسة أعضاء في «حماس» بمن فيهم ابن رئيس الحركة خليل الحية ومدير مكتبه وقائد أمني قطري، ونفت «حماس» مقتل قياداتها العليا، لكنها وصفت الهجوم بـ«الغادر والإجرامي».
واعتبرت قطر الهجوم «انتهاكا صارخا لسيادتها» و«عملا إجراميا»، محذرة من تداعياته على جهود السلام، وعلقت مفاوضات وقف إطلاق النار مؤقتا، كما أصدر الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش إدانة قوية، واصفا إياه بأنه «انتهاك للسيادة القطرية»، مشيرا إلى دور قطر الإيجابي في الوساطة.
في حين أعربت الولايات المتحدة عن أسفها لموقع الهجوم في حي سكني، لكنها أكدت أنها كانت على علم مسبق بالعملية، مع تصريح من البيت الأبيض بأنها «لا تخدم أهداف إسرائيل أو أمريكا»، أما الدول العربية، فقد أدانت الهجوم بشدة، وأدانت الجامعة العربية الهجوم كـ«انتهاك صارخ للسيادة القطرية»، مطالبة المجتمع الدولي بالتدخل.
The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, condemned in the strongest terms the aggressive attacks launched by the Israeli occupation entity on the city of Doha in the State of Qatar, affirming that this treacherous assault represents a blatant and unacceptable violation of Qatari sovereignty, and a gross breach of the United Nations Charter and international laws and norms.
The President of the Arab Parliament emphasized that this "heinous crime" poses a direct threat to Arab national security and regional and international stability, stressing the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people in facing this treacherous aggression.
The President of the Arab Parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to bear their legal and moral responsibilities to stop the repeated assaults by the occupation entity against the sovereignty of states and to hold it accountable for its crimes, warning that the continuation of these aggressive policies complicates the situation and threatens further escalation, potentially igniting the situation in the entire region.
The President of the Arab Parliament demanded urgent international action to deter the occupation entity, which has become outside all international laws and norms, to stop all violations it commits, and to take firm and swift measures to protect the sovereignty of states and the security of their peoples.
The Israeli attack, which struck residential buildings in the Katara tourist district of Doha, resulted in injuries and significant material damage, with the killing of five members of "Hamas," including the son of the movement's leader, Khalil Al-Hayya, his office manager, and a Qatari security leader. "Hamas" denied the killing of its senior leaders but described the attack as "treacherous and criminal."
Qatar considered the attack a "blatant violation of its sovereignty" and a "criminal act," warning of its repercussions on peace efforts, and temporarily suspended ceasefire negotiations. The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a strong condemnation, describing it as a "violation of Qatari sovereignty," while noting Qatar's positive role in mediation.
Meanwhile, the United States expressed regret over the location of the attack in a residential area but confirmed that it had prior knowledge of the operation, with a statement from the White House indicating that it "does not serve the goals of Israel or America." Arab countries strongly condemned the attack, and the Arab League denounced it as a "blatant violation of Qatari sovereignty," calling for international intervention.
