حذر وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبدالعاطي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، من خطورة توسع العمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية في غزة، مشدداً على ضرورة التدخل العاجل من المجتمع الدولي واتخاذه خطوات فاعلة لوقف العدوان الإسرائيلي على القطاع.
واستعرض عبدالعاطي في اتصال هاتفي مع مع نظيره الإيطالي أنطونيو تاياني، جهود مصر وقطر الحثيثة للتوصل لوقف إطلاق النار، بالإضافة إلى نفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية والإغاثية إلى قطاع غزة، ورفع المعاناة عن الشعب الفلسطيني الأعزل في ظل الانتهاكات الصارخة التي ترتكبها إسرائيل.
تدهور الأوضاع الإنسانية
وحذر عبدالعاطي من خطورة التدهور المتسارع للأوضاع الإنسانية الكارثية التي وصلت إلى حد المجاعة، والذي يتطلب تدخلا عاجلا من المجتمع الدولي من خلال اتخاذ خطوات فاعلة لوقف العدوان الإسرائيلي.
وكان وزير الخارجية المصري في اتصال هاتفي مع نظيره الألماني يوهان فاديفول ليل أمس أعلن رفض بلاده القاطع مواصلة إسرائيل «عدوانها الغاشم» على قطاع غزة، معربا عن تطلعه لقيام ألمانيا بالضغط على إسرائيل لوضع حد لانتهاكاتها المتواصلة.
دعوة أوروبية
من جهة أخرى، دعت مسؤولة السياسة الخارجية بالاتحاد الأوروبي كايا كالاس إلى الضغط على إسرائيل بشأن سلوكها في غزة، قائلة: «خياراتنا للتحرك واضحة لكن لا اتفاق بشأنها بين الدول الأعضاء، أدعو الدول الأعضاء للتحرك بشكل جماعي بشأن الوضع في قطاع غزة».
وكان وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي جدعون ساعر قد قال في وقت سابق اليوم إن إسرائيل تسعى إلى إنهاء الحرب في غزة وفقاً لمقترح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، والمبادئ التي وضعها المجلس الوزاري الأمني الإسرائيلي.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Atti, warned today (Tuesday) of the dangers of the expansion of Israeli military operations in Gaza, emphasizing the need for urgent intervention from the international community and for it to take effective steps to stop the Israeli aggression on the sector.
Abdel Atti reviewed, in a phone call with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, the diligent efforts of Egypt and Qatar to reach a ceasefire, in addition to the delivery of humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip, and alleviating the suffering of the defenseless Palestinian people in light of the blatant violations committed by Israel.
Deterioration of Humanitarian Conditions
Abdel Atti warned of the serious and rapid deterioration of the catastrophic humanitarian conditions that have reached the level of famine, which requires urgent intervention from the international community through effective steps to stop the Israeli aggression.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister, in a phone call with his German counterpart Johan Wadephol, announced last night his country's firm rejection of Israel's "brutal aggression" against the Gaza Strip, expressing his hope that Germany would pressure Israel to put an end to its ongoing violations.
European Call
On another note, the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, called for pressure on Israel regarding its conduct in Gaza, stating: "Our options for action are clear, but there is no agreement on them among the member states. I urge member states to act collectively regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip."
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar had said earlier today that Israel seeks to end the war in Gaza according to the proposal of U.S. President Donald Trump and the principles set by the Israeli security cabinet.
