بعد ساعات من إعلانها فرض 9 إجراءات لمعاقبة إسرائيل منها حظر الأسلحة وتبادل المنتجات، منع استقبال سفن السلاح والطيران، استدعت إسبانيا، اليوم (الإثنين)، سفيرها من إسرائيل للتشاور، وذلك عقب إعلان وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي بأنهم لن يقيموا أي اتصال مع مدريد.
وقال رئيس الوزراء الإسباني بيدرو سانشيز، في كلمة بثها التلفزيون المحلي «نأمل أن تُشكل هذه الإجراءات مزيداً من الضغط على رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بينيامين نتنياهو وحكومته لتخفيف بعض المعاناة التي يتكبدها الشعب الفلسطيني».
الإبادة الإسرائيلية
«سانشيز» الذي يعد أول زعيم أوروبي رفيع، يتهم إسرائيل بارتكاب إبادة جماعية في غزة، أعرب عن ارتياحه لخطوات بعض الدول الأوروبية الأخرى في الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين، لكنه أقر بأن استجابة أوروبا كانت ضعيفة.
وأشار إلى أن إسبانيا بذلت جهوداً خلال العامين الماضيين لتحقيق وقف دائم لإطلاق النار من خلال المساعدات الإنسانية والخطوات السياسية والقانونية، معلناً اتخاذ بلاده 9 إجراءات إضافية، سارية المفعول فوراً، لوقف الإبادة الجماعية في غزة ودعم الشعب الفلسطيني.
ولفت إلى أنه ستكون هناك موافقة عاجلة على مرسوم ملكي يُعزز قانونياً حظر الأسلحة المفروض على إسرائيل، الذي دخل حيز التنفيذ منذ أكتوبر 2023. وسيحظر هذا المرسوم الملكي قانونياً وبشكل دائم شراء وبيع الأسلحة والذخائر والمعدات العسكرية إلى إسرائيل.
حظر المجرمين
وأفصح سانشيز عن منع بلاده السفن التي تحمل وقوداً للقوات الإسرائيلية من الرسو في الموانئ الإسبانية، ومنع جميع الطائرات التي تحمل معدات دفاعية إلى إسرائيل من استخدام المجال الجوي الإسباني، مشدداً بالقول: «سيتم أيضاً منع جميع المتورطين بشكل مباشر في الإبادة الجماعية وانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان وجرائم الحرب في قطاع غزة من دخول إسبانيا».

After hours of announcing 9 measures to punish Israel, including an arms embargo and a ban on the exchange of products, as well as preventing the reception of arms and aviation ships, Spain summoned its ambassador from Israel for consultations today (Monday), following the announcement by the Israeli Foreign Minister that they would not establish any contact with Madrid.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez stated in a speech broadcast by local television, "We hope that these measures will exert further pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to alleviate some of the suffering endured by the Palestinian people."
Israeli Genocide
Sánchez, who is the first high-ranking European leader to accuse Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, expressed his satisfaction with the steps taken by some other European countries in recognizing the State of Palestine, but acknowledged that Europe's response has been weak.
He pointed out that Spain has made efforts over the past two years to achieve a permanent ceasefire through humanitarian aid and political and legal steps, announcing that his country is taking 9 additional measures, effective immediately, to stop the genocide in Gaza and support the Palestinian people.
He noted that there will be an urgent approval of a royal decree that legally strengthens the arms embargo imposed on Israel, which has been in effect since October 2023. This royal decree will legally and permanently prohibit the purchase and sale of arms, ammunition, and military equipment to Israel.
Ban on Criminals
Sánchez revealed that his country will prevent ships carrying fuel for Israeli forces from docking at Spanish ports and will prohibit all aircraft carrying defensive equipment to Israel from using Spanish airspace, emphasizing: "All those directly involved in the genocide, human rights violations, and war crimes in the Gaza Strip will also be barred from entering Spain."
