قتل 7 إسرائيليين وأصيب نحو 12 آخرين، اليوم (الإثنين)، في هجوم نفذه مسلحان داخل حافلة قرب تقاطع راموت شمال القدس بالأراضي المحتلة.
وقالت الشرطة الإسرائيلية إنها فرضت طوقاً أمنياً في موقع العملية، مؤكدة أن من بين المصابين 6 بحالة حرجة، واثنين إصابتهما متوسطة، و4 إصابات طفيفة. وأضافت الشرطة أن المسلحين قُتلا برصاص أحد عناصر الأمن ومواطن مسلح، مبينة أن المنفذين وصلا بسيارة إلى محطة الحافلات وأطلقا النار باتجاهها.
تعزيزات عسكرية
ودفع جيش الاحتلال بأربع كتائب إلى الموقع وشدد إجراءاته الأمنية في القدس، إلى جانب محاصرة بلدات بالضفة الغربية بحثاً عمّن وصفهم بـ«المتواطئين».
وذكرت إذاعة الجيش الإسرائيلي أن المنفذين ينحدران من قريتي القبيبة وقطنة شمال غربي رام الله، ولم تكن لهما سوابق أمنية.
تهديدات نتنياهو
من جهته، قال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو من موقع الهجوم: «نقاتل على عدة جبهات، وجهودنا مستمرة، وسنطارد كل من ساهم في تنفيذ هذه العملية وسنتخذ إجراءات أكثر تشدداً».
وأوضح نتنياهو أن أحد جنود لواء الحريديم ومواطنين مسلحين شاركوا في قتل المنفذين، وعقد نتنياهو اجتماعًا لتقييم الوضع مع قادة الأجهزة الأمنية، عقب حادث إطلاق النار في القدس المحتلة.
بدوره، دعا وزير الأمن القومي المتطرف، إيتمار بن غفير، جميع الإسرائيليين إلى حمل السلاح في كل مكان.
Seven Israelis were killed and about 12 others were injured today (Monday) in an attack carried out by two gunmen inside a bus near the Ramot intersection north of Jerusalem in the occupied territories.
The Israeli police stated that they imposed a security cordon at the site of the operation, confirming that among the injured, 6 are in critical condition, two have moderate injuries, and 4 have minor injuries. The police added that the gunmen were killed by gunfire from a security personnel and an armed civilian, indicating that the attackers arrived by car at the bus station and opened fire towards it.
Military Reinforcements
The occupation army deployed four battalions to the site and tightened security measures in Jerusalem, in addition to surrounding towns in the West Bank in search of those they described as "accomplices."
The Israeli army radio reported that the attackers are from the villages of Qabiba and Qatna northwest of Ramallah, and they had no prior security records.
Netanyahu's Threats
For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at the site of the attack, said: "We are fighting on several fronts, our efforts are ongoing, and we will pursue everyone who contributed to carrying out this operation, and we will take more stringent measures."
Netanyahu clarified that one soldier from the Haredi Brigade and armed civilians participated in killing the attackers, and he held a meeting to assess the situation with security leaders following the shooting incident in occupied Jerusalem.
For his part, the extremist National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, called on all Israelis to carry weapons everywhere.
