دان البرلمان العربي، بأشد العبارات، تصريحات رئيس وزراء كيان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، التي دعا فيها بشكل سافر إلى تهجير الشعب الفلسطيني من قطاع غزة عبر معبر رفح، معتبراً هذه التصريحات تمثل امتداداً لسياسة «التطهير العرقي والتهجير القسري» التي ينتهجها كيان الاحتلال منذ عقود.
وأكد رئيس البرلمان العربي محمد بن أحمد اليماحي أن البرلمان العربي يعتبر هذه الدعوات الباطلة والمرفوضة «خَرْقاً صارخاً» للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، ولاتفاقيات جنيف ولقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وتعدياً سافراً على حق الشعب الفلسطيني في البقاء على أرضه، وإقامة دولته المستقلة ذات السيادة، وتمثل أيضا تهديداً مباشراً للأمن والسلم الدوليين.
جريمة حرب
وشدد رئيس البرلمان العربي على أن التهجير القسري «جريمة حرب» مكتملة الأركان لا تسقط بالتقادم، مؤكداً أن الشعب الفلسطيني متمسك بأرضه ولن يقبل أي مشاريع مشبوهة تستهدف اقتلاعه من وطنه.
وجدد اليماحي رفض البرلمان العربي القاطع لكل محاولات التهجير التي يسعى إليها كيان الاحتلال في قطاع غزة أو الضفة الغربية أو أي جزء من الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، ورفضه لأية محاولات لتصفية القضية الفلسطينية، مؤكداً دعم البرلمان العربي المطلق للموقف العربي الرافض لتهجير الفلسطينيين من قطاع غزة ومحاولة تصفية القضية الفلسطينية.
الحماية الدولية للفلسطينيين
ودعا اليماحي المجتمع الدولي ومجلس الأمن والأمم المتحدة إلى تحمل مسؤولياتهم القانونية والأخلاقية والإنسانية، لوقف هذه الانتهاكات الخطيرة ووضع حد لخطاب التحريض العنصري الصادر عن قادة كيان الاحتلال، وتوفير الحماية الدولية اللازمة للشعب الفلسطيني.
وطالب رئيس البرلمان العربي بضرورة العمل الجاد على تمكين الشعب الفلسطيني من ممارسة حقه المشروع في تقرير مصيره وإقامة دولته المستقلة ذات السيادة، باعتبارها السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق السلام الشامل والعادل الذي يضمن الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
The Arab Parliament condemned, in the strongest terms, the statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he openly called for the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, considering these statements to be an extension of the policy of "ethnic cleansing and forced displacement" that the occupying entity has been pursuing for decades.
Arab Parliament President Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi affirmed that the Arab Parliament considers these false and rejected calls to be a "blatant violation" of international law, international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and relevant United Nations resolutions, as well as a gross infringement on the right of the Palestinian people to remain on their land and establish their independent sovereign state. He also stated that these calls represent a direct threat to international peace and security.
War Crime
The President of the Arab Parliament emphasized that forced displacement is a "war crime" with all its elements that does not become obsolete over time, affirming that the Palestinian people are steadfast in their land and will not accept any dubious projects aimed at uprooting them from their homeland.
Al-Yamahi reiterated the Arab Parliament's firm rejection of all attempts at displacement being pursued by the occupying entity in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, or any part of the occupied Palestinian territories, and its rejection of any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause, affirming the Arab Parliament's absolute support for the Arab stance that opposes the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
International Protection for Palestinians
Al-Yamahi called on the international community, the Security Council, and the United Nations to bear their legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities to stop these serious violations and put an end to the racist incitement rhetoric issued by the leaders of the occupying entity, and to provide the necessary international protection for the Palestinian people.
The President of the Arab Parliament demanded the necessity of serious efforts to enable the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate right to self-determination and establish their independent sovereign state, considering this the only way to achieve comprehensive and just peace that guarantees security and stability in the region.
