بينما يواصل سكان غزة البحث عن مكان آمن في ظل المخطط الإسرائيلي لإبادتهم واحتلال مدينتهم وطرد من فيها، أقر مسؤول إسرائيلي، اليوم (الخميس)، أن الهجوم على غزة والسيطرة عليها سيؤدي إلى نزوح مليون فلسطيني نحو الجنوب.
وقال مسؤول في وحدة تنسيق أعمال الحكومة الإسرائيلية في الأراضي الفلسطينية «كوغات»، إن حوالى 70 ألف فلسطيني غادروا شمال القطاع، موضحاً أن إسرائيل تسعى لتحديد ما سماها «المنطقة الإنسانية»، التي سيتم إعلانها رسمياً في الأيام القادمة.
وأفاد المسؤول أنه من المقرر أن تمتد هذه المنطقة من مجموعة من مخيمات اللاجئين في وسط غزة إلى منطقة المواصي الساحلية جنوباً، كما ستمتد نحو الشرق.
ونقلت إذاعة الجيش الإسرائيلي عن رئيس الأركان السابق غادي آيزنكوت قوله إن رئيس الأركان الحالي إيال زامير يعلن استيفاء شروط عودة الأسرى ورئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو يعرقل، وذلك بعد أن وافقت حركة حماس الشهر الماضي على مقترح للوسطاء بشأن صفقة جزئية.
وأكدت المعارضة الإسرائيلية وعائلات الأسرى أن نتنياهو كل مرة يفرض مطالب جديدة تعرقل سير المفاوضات بما يضمن مواصلة الحرب للحفاظ على مستقبله السياسي وتفادي المساءلة.
بالمقابل، أكد مجمع ناصر الطبي أن الاحتلال قتل اليوم 3 من منتظري المساعدات وأصاب عدداً آخر قرب مركز مساعدات شمالي مدينة رفح، فيما ذكر مصدر طبي أن مستشفيات غزة استقبلت منذ فجر اليوم 21 قتيلاً فلسطينياً بنيران جيش الاحتلال وصلوا من مناطق عدة بالقطاع.
بدورها، طالبت وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الأونروا) برفع الحصار فوراً عن قطاع غزة، موضحة أن عائلات في غزة تركت دون ضروريات الحياة، ولم يسمح للوكالة بإدخال أي مساعدات منذ 6 أشهر.
وأشارت إلى أن هناك حاجة ماسة لإدخال مستلزمات الإيواء بينها الخيام، مبدية استعدادها لتقديم المساعدات.
While residents of Gaza continue to search for a safe place amid the Israeli plan for their extermination, occupation of their city, and expulsion of its inhabitants, an Israeli official acknowledged today (Thursday) that the attack on Gaza and its control will lead to the displacement of one million Palestinians towards the south.
An official from the Israeli government's Coordination Unit for Government Activities in the Palestinian Territories (COGAT) stated that approximately 70,000 Palestinians have left the northern Gaza Strip, explaining that Israel is working to define what it calls the "humanitarian area," which will be officially announced in the coming days.
The official reported that this area is set to extend from a group of refugee camps in central Gaza to the coastal Mawasi area in the south, and it will also extend towards the east.
The Israeli army radio quoted former Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot as saying that the current Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir is declaring the fulfillment of the conditions for the return of prisoners, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is obstructing, following Hamas's agreement last month to a proposal from mediators regarding a partial deal.
The Israeli opposition and families of the prisoners confirmed that Netanyahu imposes new demands each time, obstructing the negotiations to ensure the continuation of the war to preserve his political future and avoid accountability.
In contrast, Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that the occupation killed today 3 individuals waiting for aid and injured several others near an aid center in northern Rafah, while a medical source reported that hospitals in Gaza received since dawn today 21 Palestinian fatalities from the fire of the occupation army, who arrived from various areas in the Strip.
For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) called for an immediate lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip, clarifying that families in Gaza have been left without life necessities, and the agency has not been allowed to bring in any aid for the past 6 months.
It pointed out that there is an urgent need to bring in shelter supplies, including tents, expressing its readiness to provide assistance.
