أحرق محتجون إسرائيليون اليوم (الأربعاء)، عدة حاويات وإطارات سيارات بالقرب من منزل رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو احتجاجاً على إفشال نتنياهو لصفقة الأسرى.

ونقلت صحيفة «تايمز أوف إسرائيل»، عن الشرطة أن محتجين، أحرقوا عدة حاويات وإطارات سيارات، بالقرب من منزل نتنياهو في القدس، مبينة أن النار ألحقت أضراراً بالعديد من السيارات في حيي رحافيا وجفعات رام.
واشارت إلى أنه تم إجلاء العديد من السكان من مبان مجاورة، لكن لم يصب أحد بأذى، مبينة أن فرق الإطفاء والإنقاذ تمكنت من السيطرة على الحرائق.
وتجمع العشرات من المتظاهرين، بمن فيهم أعضاء مجموعة «إخوة في السلاح»، أمام منزل وزير الشؤون الاستراتيجية رون ديرمر، متهمين إياه بالفشل في ضمان إطلاق سراح أي محتجز منذ توليه دور المفاوض الإسرائيلي الرئيسي في القضية.

ووصف المحتجون الوضع بأنه «فشل كامل»، متهمين الحكومة بالاستسلام للجناح اليميني المتطرف وتخريب مقترح لوقف إطلاق النار والصفقة التي قبلت بها حركة حماس، قبل أسابيع، ولم ترد إسرائيل عليها، رغم تأكيد الوسطاء أن المقترح يشبه إلى حد كبير الخطة التي قبلتها تل أبيب سابقاً.
وأفادت الصحيفة أن عدداً من المحتجين تحصنوا بسطح المكتبة الوطنية بالقدس احتجاجاً على عدم إطلاق سراح المحتجزين الإسرائيليين، بينما صعدت قوات الشرطة من أجل إبعادهم.
وقالت إحدى المتظاهرات التي اعتلت المكتبة الوطنية: «يجب أن نقوم بفعل متطرف ليُذكر أحدهم (باتخاذ إجراء)»، مضيفة: «لا يمكن لدولة أن تتخلى عن مواطنيها، المكتبة الوطنية تطل على الكنيست، نحن نريد أن ينتبهوا لوجودنا».
وذكرت إذاعة الجيش الإسرائيلي أن الشرطة اعتقلت 13 متظاهرا اعتلوا سطح المكتبة الوطنية بالقدس للمطالبة بإطلاق سراح الأسرى.

من جهته، حمّل زعيم المعارضة الإسرائيلية يائير لبيد، رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو المسؤولية عن كارثة 7 أكتوبر، مؤكداً أنه يبذل جهده لمنع تشكيل لجنة تحقيق رسمية.

The "Times of Israel" reported that police stated protesters burned several containers and car tires near Netanyahu's home in Jerusalem, noting that the fire caused damage to many vehicles in the neighborhoods of Rehavia and Givat Ram.
It was noted that many residents were evacuated from nearby buildings, but no one was injured, and firefighting and rescue teams managed to control the fires.
Dozens of demonstrators, including members of the "Brothers in Arms" group, gathered in front of the home of Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, accusing him of failing to ensure the release of any detainees since he took on the role of the main Israeli negotiator in the matter.

The protesters described the situation as a "complete failure," accusing the government of capitulating to the far-right wing and sabotaging a proposed ceasefire and deal that Hamas accepted weeks ago, which Israel has not responded to, despite mediators confirming that the proposal closely resembles the plan previously accepted by Tel Aviv.
The newspaper reported that a number of protesters barricaded themselves on the roof of the National Library in Jerusalem in protest against the failure to release Israeli detainees, while police forces escalated efforts to remove them.
One of the female protesters who climbed the National Library said, "We must take extreme action for someone to notice (to take action)," adding, "A state cannot abandon its citizens; the National Library overlooks the Knesset, we want them to pay attention to our presence."
The Israeli army radio reported that police arrested 13 protesters who climbed the roof of the National Library in Jerusalem to demand the release of prisoners.

For his part, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid held Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for the October 7 disaster, emphasizing that he is making efforts to prevent the formation of an official investigation committee.
