فيما أكدت وسائل إعلام صينية وروسية وصول الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين إلى مدينة تيانجين الساحلية شمال الصين لحضور قمة أمنية إقليمية، كشفت صحيفة نيويورك بوست الأمريكية اندلاع حرائق غابات امتدت مسافة أميال من قصر بوتين المطلّ على البحر الأسود، وذلك إثر غارة بطائرة مسيّرة أوكرانية.
وأعلنت السلطات المحلية في روسيا أن نحو 100 عنصر من فرق الطوارئ شاركوا في إخماد الحريق، الذي اندلع بعد سقوط حطام طائرة مسيّرة أوكرانية أسقطتها الدفاعات الجوية الروسية، موضحة أن ألسنة النيران اقتربت مسافة 6 أميال من المجمع الرئاسي الواقع في كيب إيدوكوباس قرب منتجع غيليندزيك، بمحاذاة شبه جزيرة القرم، غير أن الموقع الاستقصائي الروسي المستقل آي ستوريز قدّم رواية مغايرة، مؤكداً أن الحريق شبّ على بُعد ميلين فقط من القصر.وأفادت المصادر بأن 23 سائحاً تقطعت بهم السبل بسبب الدخان الكثيف، واضطرت السلطات إلى إجلائهم عبر القوارب، فيما لا يزال من غير الواضح إن كان القصر هو الهدف المباشر للغارات الأوكرانية.في السياق ذاته، أكد التلفزيون المركزي الصيني (سي سي تي في) اليوم (الأحد) وصول الرئيس بوتين، مشدداً على أن العلاقات بين الصين وروسيا «في أفضل حالاتها»، وقد أصبحت أكثر استقراراً ونضجاً وأهمية إستراتيجية بين الدول الكبرى.ويستضيف الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ نحو 20 من قادة العالم في تيانجين، بينهم رئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي، وذلك ضمن أعمال قمة منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون التي تستمر يومين، في أكبر تجمع منذ تأسيس المنظمة عام 2001 بين ست دول أوراسية.

The local authorities in Russia announced that about 100 emergency response team members participated in extinguishing the fire, which erupted after the debris of a Ukrainian drone shot down by Russian air defenses fell. They clarified that the flames came within 6 miles of the presidential complex located at Cape Idokopas near the Gelendzhik resort, adjacent to the Crimean Peninsula. However, the independent Russian investigative site IStories provided a different account, confirming that the fire broke out just 2 miles from the palace. Sources reported that 23 tourists were stranded due to the thick smoke, and authorities had to evacuate them by boat, while it remains unclear whether the palace was the direct target of the Ukrainian strikes. In the same context, Chinese Central Television (CCTV) confirmed today (Sunday) President Putin's arrival, emphasizing that relations between China and Russia are "at their best," and have become more stable, mature, and strategically significant among major countries. Chinese President Xi Jinping is hosting around 20 world leaders in Tianjin, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, which lasts for two days, marking the largest gathering since the organization's founding in 2001 among six Eurasian countries.
