أعلنت شبكة «أطباء السودان» اليوم (الخميس) مقتل 24 مدنياً وإصابة 55 آخرين، بينهم خمس نساء، جراء قصف مدفعي كثيف نفذته قوات الدعم السريع، أمس، على السوق المركزي وحي أولاد الريف في مدينة الفاشر.
وأعربت الشبكة في بيان على حسابها في الفيسبوك عن إدانتها بأشد العبارات المجزرة التي ارتكبها الدعم السريع نتيجة القصف المدفعي المتعمد على مدينة الفاشر، مؤكدة أن هذه الجريمة البشعة تضاف إلى سلسلة من جرائم الحرب والإبادة التي تستهدف المدنيين العزّل في الفاشر منذ أكثر من عام، في ظل حصار مطبق ونقص حاد في الغذاء والدواء والخدمات الأساسية.
وأشارت الشبكة إلى أن استهداف الأحياء السكنية المكتظة بالمدنيين يعد انتهاكاً صارخاً لكل القوانين الدولية والإنسانية، ويكشف الانتهاكات الواسعة التي يمارسها الدعم السريع بحق المواطنين الذين تمسكوا بمنازلهم وأرضهم، محملة المجتمع الدولي ومجلس الأمن والاتحاد الأفريقي المسؤولية الكاملة عن صمتهم وعجزهم عن مواجهة هذه الجرائم.
وطالبت الشبكة المجتمع الدولي بالتحرك الفوري لوقف القصف ورفع الحصار عن الفاشر، وممارسة مزيد من الضغوط على قيادات الدعم السريع لوقف الإبادة الجماعية والتجويع الممنهج ضد المدنيين العزل في الفاشر.
وكانت تنسيقية لجان المقاومة في الفاشر قد ذكرت أن مئات القذائف تنهال يومياً على المدنيين في الأسواق والمناطق السكنية، مخلفة عشرات القتلى والجرحى، وسط انعدام الغذاء والدواء وانهيار شبه كامل للمنظومة الصحية.
The "Sudan Doctors" network announced today (Thursday) the death of 24 civilians and the injury of 55 others, including five women, due to heavy artillery shelling carried out by the Rapid Support Forces yesterday on the central market and the Awlad Al-Rif neighborhood in the city of El Fasher.
The network expressed in a statement on its Facebook account its strongest condemnation of the massacre committed by the Rapid Support Forces as a result of the deliberate artillery shelling on the city of El Fasher, affirming that this heinous crime adds to a series of war crimes and genocide targeting unarmed civilians in El Fasher for more than a year, amidst a complete siege and a severe shortage of food, medicine, and basic services.
The network pointed out that targeting densely populated residential areas is a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws, revealing the widespread violations practiced by the Rapid Support Forces against citizens who have clung to their homes and land, holding the international community, the Security Council, and the African Union fully responsible for their silence and inability to confront these crimes.
The network called on the international community to take immediate action to stop the shelling and lift the siege on El Fasher, and to exert more pressure on the leadership of the Rapid Support Forces to halt the genocide and systematic starvation against unarmed civilians in El Fasher.
The El Fasher Resistance Committees Coordination mentioned that hundreds of shells rain down daily on civilians in markets and residential areas, leaving dozens dead and wounded, amidst a lack of food and medicine and a near-total collapse of the health system.
