أعربت سلطنة عُمان عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للعدوان المتواصل الذي تشنُّه قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزّة، وآخرها الاستهداف المتعمد للطواقم الطبية والإغاثية والإعلامية في مجمع ناصر الطبي بمدينة خان يونس، في انتهاك صريح للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وجددت وزارة الخارجية العمانية، في بيان اليوم، دعوتها المجتمعَ الدولي، ومجلسَ الأمن على وجه الخصوص، لاتخاذ إجراءات حاسمة تكفل حماية المدنيين، ووقف هذه الانتهاكات المستمرة والخطيرة، وصون مبادئ القانون الدولي، مؤكدةً أنّ تحقيق العدالة للشعب الفلسطيني لن يتأتى إلا بإنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لأراضيه، وتمكينه من نيل حقوقه المشروعة، وفي مقدمتها إقامة دولته المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، استناداً إلى قرارات الشرعية الدولية ومبادرة السلام العربية.
The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing aggression being waged by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip, the latest of which is the deliberate targeting of medical, relief, and media teams at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated, in a statement today, its call to the international community, particularly the Security Council, to take decisive actions to ensure the protection of civilians, to stop these ongoing and serious violations, and to uphold the principles of international law. It emphasized that achieving justice for the Palestinian people can only be realized by ending the Israeli occupation of their lands and enabling them to obtain their legitimate rights, foremost among which is the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
