دحضت وزارة الخارجية السورية الأنباء التي ترددت عن توقيع اتفاق أمني مع إسرائيل في 25 سبتمبر القادم. وأعلن مكتب التنسيق والاتصال في إدارة الإعلام بوزارة الخارجية أن ما تم تداوله بشأن توقيع أي اتفاق أمني بين الجانبين غير صحيح.
وكانت صحيفة «إندبندنت عربية» نقلت عن مصادر سورية رفيعة المستوى قولها: إن سورية وإسرائيل ستوقعان اتفاقاً أمنياً برعاية الولايات المتحدة في الـ25 من سبتمبر القادم.
وأفادت وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية (سانا) الثلاثاء الماضي بأن وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني التقى في باريس وفداً إسرائيلياً لبحث عدد من الملفات المتعلقة بخفض التصعيد وتعزيز الاستقرار في المنطقة، في اجتماع تمّ برعاية أمريكية.
ووفقاً للوكالة، فإن النقاشات ركزت على وقف التدخل في الشأن السوري الداخلي، وتعزيز الاستقرار في الجنوب السوري، ومراقبة وقف إطلاق النار في محافظة السويداء، وإعادة تفعيل اتفاق فضّ الاشتباك لعام 1974، الذي ينص على وقف الأعمال القتالية بين سورية وإسرائيل، وإشراف قوة أممية على المنطقة المنزوعة السلاح.
ولفتت «سانا» إلى أن المحادثات تأتي في إطار الجهود الدبلوماسية الأمريكية الرامية إلى تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في سورية والحفاظ على وحدة وسلامة أراضيها.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء امتداداً لاجتماع مماثل استضافته باريس أواخر شهر يوليو بين الشيباني ووزير الشؤون الاستراتيجية الإسرائيلي رون ديرمير، في وقت تحدثت مصادر دبلوماسية عن لقاءات مباشرة أخرى جرت بين الطرفين في العاصمة الأذربيجانية باكو.
من جهة أخرى، قُتل عنصر أمن سوري في هجوم انتحاري نفذه تنظيم داعش الإرهابي على أحد الحواجز الأمنية في محافظة دير الزور شرق البلاد.
وأكدت وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية (سانا)، أمس (الجمعة)، وقوع هجوم انتحاري نفذه تنظيم داعش على حاجز السياسية (الأمني) في مدينة الميادين بدير الزور. وأضافت أن عناصر الحاجز تمكنوا من قتل أحد المهاجمين فيما فجر الثاني نفسه.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry has denied reports about signing a security agreement with Israel on September 25. The Coordination and Communication Office in the Media Department of the Foreign Ministry announced that the information circulating regarding the signing of any security agreement between the two sides is incorrect.
The newspaper "Independent Arabia" quoted high-level Syrian sources stating that Syria and Israel will sign a security agreement under the auspices of the United States on September 25.
The official Syrian news agency (SANA) reported last Tuesday that Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad met in Paris with an Israeli delegation to discuss several files related to de-escalation and enhancing stability in the region, in a meeting held under American sponsorship.
According to the agency, discussions focused on stopping interference in Syrian internal affairs, enhancing stability in southern Syria, monitoring the ceasefire in the Sweida Governorate, and reactivating the 1974 disengagement agreement, which stipulates the cessation of hostilities between Syria and Israel, and the supervision of a UN force in the demilitarized zone.
SANA noted that the talks are part of American diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in Syria and maintaining the unity and territorial integrity of the country.
This meeting follows a similar meeting hosted in Paris at the end of July between Mekdad and Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, while diplomatic sources spoke of other direct meetings that took place between the two sides in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.
On another note, a Syrian security personnel was killed in a suicide attack carried out by the ISIS terrorist organization on one of the security checkpoints in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria.
The official Syrian news agency (SANA) confirmed yesterday (Friday) the occurrence of a suicide attack carried out by ISIS on the political (security) checkpoint in the city of Mayadeen in Deir ez-Zor. It added that the checkpoint personnel managed to kill one of the attackers while the second detonated himself.
