أعلنت مصر اليوم (الأحد)، رفضها القاطع تهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم التاريخية سواء في قطاع غزة أو الضفة الغربية، مؤكدة أن اتصالاتها مع الدول التي ترددت موافقتها على استقبالها الفلسطينيين، أفادت بعدم قبولها تلك المخططات المستهجنة.
ودعت وزارة الخارجية المصرية في بيان كافة دول العالم المحبة للسلام، إلى عدم التورط في هذه الجريمة غير الأخلاقية المنافية لكافة مبادئ القانون الدولي الإنساني، والتي تشكل جريمة حرب، وتطهيراً عرقياً، وتمثل خرقاً صريحاً لاتفاقيات جنيف الأربع، محذرة من المسؤولية التاريخية والقانونية التي ستقع على أي طرف يشارك في هذه الجريمة النكراء، وما تحمله من عواقب وتداعيات سياسية ذات أبعاد إقليمية ودولية.
وأوضحت الخارجية المصرية، أن سياسة إسرائيل بشأن محاولات تهجير الفلسطينيين من قطاع غزة، تستهدف إفراغ الأرض الفلسطينية من أصحابها واحتلالها وتصفية القضية الفلسطينية، مؤكدة الرفض القاطع لمحاولات التهجير تحت أي ذرائع أو مسوغات أو مسميات سواء كان التهجير قسرياً أو طوعياً من خلال سياسات التجويع، ومصادرة الأراضي والاستيطان، وجعل الحياة مستحيلة على الأرض الفلسطينية.
وقالت الخارجية المصرية، إن القاهرة لن تقبل بالتهجير ولن تشارك به باعتباره ظلماً تاريخياً، لا مبرر أخلاقياً أو قانونياً له، ولن تسمح به باعتباره سيؤدي حتماً إلى تصفية القضية الفلسطينية.
وكانت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» الأمريكية، قد قالت إن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة، تضغطان للمضي قدماً في جهود تهجير مئات الآلاف من الفلسطينيين من قطاع غزة، وسط معارضة دول عربية وأوروبية، انتقدت الخطوة وحذرت من أنها تشكل انتهاكاً للقانون الدولي.
ونقلت «وول ستريت جورنال» عن مصارد قولها: إن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة تضغطان على مصر لاستقبال الفلسطينيين في شبه جزيرة سيناء، وإن «القاهرة تعارض الفكرة بشدة».
Egypt announced today (Sunday) its firm rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from their historical land, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, affirming that its communications with countries that hesitated to agree to receive Palestinians indicated their refusal of these condemned plans.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, called on all peace-loving countries around the world not to get involved in this unethical crime that contradicts all principles of international humanitarian law, which constitutes a war crime and ethnic cleansing, and represents a blatant violation of the four Geneva Conventions. It warned of the historical and legal responsibility that will fall on any party participating in this heinous crime, along with the political consequences and repercussions with regional and international dimensions.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry clarified that Israel's policy regarding attempts to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip aims to empty Palestinian land of its owners, occupy it, and liquidate the Palestinian cause. It firmly rejected attempts at displacement under any pretext, justification, or designation, whether the displacement is forced or voluntary through starvation policies, land confiscation, and settlement, making life impossible on Palestinian land.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated that Cairo will not accept displacement and will not participate in it, considering it a historical injustice with no moral or legal justification, and will not allow it as it will inevitably lead to the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
The American newspaper "The Wall Street Journal" reported that Israel and the United States are pushing to proceed with efforts to displace hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, amid opposition from Arab and European countries that criticized the move and warned that it constitutes a violation of international law.
"The Wall Street Journal" quoted sources saying that Israel and the United States are pressuring Egypt to receive Palestinians in the Sinai Peninsula, and that "Cairo strongly opposes the idea."
