أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، اليوم (السبت)، إيقاف جميع تأشيرات الزيارة للأفراد القادمين من قطاع غزة، مؤكدة أنها اتخذت هذا القرار خلال إجرائها مراجعة كاملة وشاملة للعملية والإجراءات المتبعة في الأيام القليلة الماضية لإصدار عدد قليل من التأشيرات المؤقتة لأغراض طبية وإنسانية.
وأصدرت الولايات المتحدة أكثر من 3,800 تأشيرة زيارة من فئة «بي1» و«بي 2» التي تسمح للأجانب بالحصول على العلاج الطبي داخل الولايات الأمريكية، لحاملي وثيقة السفر الصادرة عن السلطة الفلسطينية، من بينها 640 تأشيرة صادرة في شهر مايو، وذلك وفقاً لتحليل للأرقام الشهرية المنشورة على موقع وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية. وذكرت وسائل إعلام غربية أن قرار الخارجية الأمريكية، بوقف تأشيرات الزيارة للأشخاص القادمين من غزة، جاء بعد تصريحات الناشطة اليمينية المتطرفة لورا لومر على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أمس.
وقالت المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان أمس إن ما لا يقل عن 1,760 فلسطينياً قتلوا أثناء انتظارهم المساعدات في غزة أواخر مايو. يتزامن القرار الأمريكي مع استمرار حرب الإبادة الجماعية التي تشنها إسرائيل على قطاع غزة نحو عامين 2023، وأدت إلى مقتل أكثر 62 ألف فلسطيني وإصابة 150 ألف، معظمهم نساء وأطفال.
وارتفع عدد ضحايا التجويع الإسرائيلي في غزة اليوم السبت إلى 251 قتيلاً، بينهم 108 أطفال، وبحسب وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية فإن مستشفيات غزة سجلت في الساعات الـ24 الماضية وفاة 11 حالة نتيجة سوء التغذية.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن 40 ألف رضيع يعانون من سوء التغذية الحاد بالقطاع جراء استمرار الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في منع دخول العدد الكافي من شاحنات المساعدات، فيما يتم نهب وسرقة العدد القليل الذي يسمح بدخوله جراء الظروف الأمنية التي أوجدها جيش الاحتلال.

Western media reported that the U.S. State Department's decision to halt visitor visas for people coming from Gaza came after statements made by far-right activist Laura Loomer on social media yesterday.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights stated yesterday that at least 1,760 Palestinians were killed while waiting for aid in Gaza in late May. The U.S. decision coincides with the ongoing genocide being perpetrated by Israel against the Gaza Strip for nearly two years in 2023, which has resulted in the deaths of over 62,000 Palestinians and injuries to 150,000, most of whom are women and children.
The number of victims of Israeli starvation in Gaza rose today, Saturday, to 251 dead, including 108 children. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, hospitals in Gaza recorded 11 deaths in the past 24 hours due to malnutrition.
The ministry indicated that 40,000 infants are suffering from acute malnutrition in the sector due to the ongoing Israeli occupation preventing the entry of a sufficient number of aid trucks, while the few that are allowed in are being looted and stolen due to the security conditions created by the occupying army.
