بعد أقل من 24 ساعة على قمة الرئيسين الروسي فلاديمير بوتين والأمريكي دونالد ترمب، في ألاسكا، أعلن الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون عقد اجتماع قريب لممثلي ما يسمى بـ«تحالف الراغبين» لدعم أوكرانيا.
وكتب ماكرون على منصة «إكس»، اليوم (السبت): «أي سلام دائم يجب أن ترافقه ضمانات أمنية غير قابلة للخرق، وأرحب في هذا الصدد باستعداد الولايات المتحدة للمساهمة في هذه الضمانات. سنعمل على ذلك معهم ومع جميع شركائنا في تحالف الراغبين الذين سنجتمع معهم قريباً لتحقيق تقدم ملموس».
وكان قادة الاتحاد الأوروبي، أعلنوا أن الاتحاد سيواصل الضغط على روسيا، إذ ستظل العقوبات الحالية سارية مع التخطيط لإجراءات جديدة، خصوصاً في المجال الاقتصادي.
وأبدى زعماء أوروبيون، في بيان، استعدادهم للعمل مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، ونظيره الأوكراني فلاديمير زيلينسكي، للتحضير لقمة ثلاثية بين روسيا والولايات المتحدة وأوكرانيا، بدعم أوروبي.
ورحب قادة فرنسا وإيطاليا وألمانيا وبريطانيا العظمى وفنلندا وبولندا ورئيسا المفوضية الأوروبية والمجلس الأوروبي، في بيان نُشر على موقع الحكومة الألمانية على شبكة الإنترنت، بجهود الرئيس الأمريكي لوقف إراقة الدماء في أوكرانيا، وإنهاء الصراع، وتحقيق سلام عادل ودائم. وأكد البيان أن الزعماء الأوروبيين مستعدون للعمل مع دونالد ترمب وزيلنسكي لعقد قمة ثلاثية بدعم أوروبي.
وبحسب البيان، ستتخذ أوكرانيا القرارات المتعلقة بأراضيها بنفسها، ولا يمكن تغيير الحدود الدولية بالقوة.
وأوضح البيان أنه لا ينبغي فرض أي قيود على القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية أو تعاونها مع دول ثالثة، ولا يمكن لروسيا أن تمارس حق النقض على مسار أوكرانيا نحو الانضمام إلى الاتحاد الأوروبي وحلف شمال الأطلسي.

After less than 24 hours following the summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American President Donald Trump in Alaska, French President Emmanuel Macron announced a forthcoming meeting of representatives from the so-called "Alliance of the Willing" to support Ukraine.
Macron wrote on the "X" platform today (Saturday): "Any lasting peace must be accompanied by inviolable security guarantees, and I welcome in this regard the United States' readiness to contribute to these guarantees. We will work on this with them and with all our partners in the Alliance of the Willing, whom we will meet soon to achieve tangible progress."
European Union leaders announced that the EU will continue to pressure Russia, as current sanctions will remain in place with plans for new measures, particularly in the economic field.
European leaders expressed, in a statement, their readiness to work with American President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to prepare for a trilateral summit between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, with European support.
The leaders of France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Finland, Poland, and the Presidents of the European Commission and the European Council welcomed the American President's efforts to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine, end the conflict, and achieve a just and lasting peace. The statement confirmed that European leaders are ready to work with Donald Trump and Zelensky to hold a trilateral summit with European support.
According to the statement, Ukraine will make decisions regarding its territory independently, and international borders cannot be changed by force.
The statement clarified that no restrictions should be imposed on the Ukrainian armed forces or their cooperation with third countries, and Russia cannot exercise a veto over Ukraine's path to joining the European Union and NATO.
