حذر مراقبون وخبراء من أن تنفيذ رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو خطته الرامية إلى احتلال قطاع غزة بالكامل سيقود إلى كارثة إنسانية غير مسبوقة، وسط مخاوف من ارتكاب مجازر وحشية وجرائم إبادة جماعية بحق الفلسطينيين، في ظل أوضاع مأساوية يعيشها القطاع منذ أشهر.
وتشير التحليلات إلى أن الخطة قد تتضمن فرض التهجير القسري وتدمير ما تبقى من البنية التحتية في غزة، وهو ما سيقضي على أي أمل في إنجاح الجهود الدولية والإقليمية الرامية لتحقيق السلام وحل الدولتين، فضلاً عن تعقيد ملف الرهائن الإسرائيليين وتقليص فرص إنقاذهم أحياء.
كما يحذر الخبراء من أن مثل هذا التصعيد قد يؤدي إلى زيادة التطرف والإرهاب في المنطقة والعالم، إلى جانب تشجيع منظمات وجماعات مسلحة على انتهاك القانون الدولي الإنساني، ما يهدد بإشعال أزمات أوسع تتجاوز حدود الأراضي الفلسطينية.
Observers and experts have warned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip will lead to an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, amid fears of committing brutal massacres and genocide against Palestinians, in light of the tragic conditions the region has been experiencing for months.
Analyses indicate that the plan may involve the imposition of forced displacement and the destruction of what remains of Gaza's infrastructure, which would eliminate any hope of succeeding in international and regional efforts aimed at achieving peace and a two-state solution, in addition to complicating the issue of Israeli hostages and reducing the chances of rescuing them alive.
Experts also warn that such escalation could lead to increased extremism and terrorism in the region and the world, as well as encouraging organizations and armed groups to violate international humanitarian law, threatening to ignite broader crises that extend beyond the borders of the Palestinian territories.
