أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن ترحيب المملكة العربية السعودية بإعلان التوصل إلى اتفاق سلام بين جمهورية أرمينيا وجمهورية أذربيجان، مشيدةً برعاية الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لهذا الاتفاق.
وعبرت الوزارة عن تطلع المملكة بأن يشكل هذا الاتفاق بداية مرحلة جديدة من التفاهم والتعاون وترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار بين أرمينيا وأذربيجان، بما يخدم مصلحة شعبي البلدين، ومنطقة القوقاز.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome to the announcement of a peace agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, commending the sponsorship of the United States of America for this agreement.
The ministry expressed the Kingdom's hope that this agreement would mark the beginning of a new phase of understanding and cooperation, and the establishment of security and stability between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries' peoples and the Caucasus region.
