أكد وزير الخارجية اللبناني يوسف رجي أن قرار الحكومة بشأن حصر السلاح حاسم ونهائي. وشدّد في منشور له، اليوم (الأربعاء) على منصة إكس، ألا عودة إلى الوراء في هذا القرار. وقال رجى إن قرار الحكومة «التاريخي» في قضية حصرية السلاح بيد الدولة قبل نهاية العام، جاء أولاً تلبيةً لتطلعات الشعب اللبناني.
من جهته، وصف حزب القوات اللبنانية، قرار الحكومة بشأن حصر السلاح بأنه «تاريخي». وأكد بيان للدائرة الإعلامية في الحزب أن «القرار التاريخي الذي اتّخذه مجلس الوزراء، أمس (الثلاثاء)، وَجب اتّخاذه منذ 35 عاماً لولا الانقلاب على «وثيقة الوفاق الوطني» التي نصّت حرفيًّا على «بسط سلطة الدولة اللبنانية على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية بواسطة قواتها الذاتية»، وفقاً لما نقلته وكالة الإعلام اللبنانية.
وكان حزب القوات اللبنانية يرد على بيان حزب الله الذي هاجم قرار الحكومة اللبنانية تكليف الجيش بوضع خطة تطبيقية لحصر السلاح بيده قبل نهاية العام.
بدورها، اعتبرت حركة «أمل» التي يرأسها رئيس البرلمان نبيه بري، أنه كان «حرياً بالحكومة اللبنانية التي تستعجل تقديم المزيد من التنازلات المجانية للعدو الإسرائيلي باتفاقات جديدة، كان أولى بها أن تسخر جهودها لتثبيت وقف النار أولاً ووضع حد لآلة القتل الإسرائيلية».
ورأت أن «جلسة الغد الخميس تشكل فرصة للتصحيح وعودة للتضامن اللبناني»، ما يشي باحتمال حضور وزراء الحزبين جلسة الغد.
وكانت الحكومة أعلنت أمس، عقب جلسة وصفت بـ«التاريخية»، تكليف الجيش بوضع خطة لحصر السلاح في يد القوى الشرعية قبل نهاية العام الحالي، على أن يقدمها نهاية شهر أغسطس الجاري.
Lebanese Foreign Minister Joseph Raji confirmed that the government's decision regarding the restriction of weapons is decisive and final. He emphasized in a post today (Wednesday) on the X platform that there is no turning back on this decision. Raji stated that the government's "historic" decision on the exclusivity of weapons in the hands of the state before the end of the year came primarily in response to the aspirations of the Lebanese people.
For its part, the Lebanese Forces party described the government's decision regarding the restriction of weapons as "historic." A statement from the party's media office confirmed that "the historic decision made by the Cabinet yesterday (Tuesday) should have been taken 35 years ago, had it not been for the coup against the 'National Accord Document,' which literally stipulated 'the establishment of the Lebanese state's authority over all Lebanese territories through its own forces,'" according to the Lebanese media agency.
The Lebanese Forces party was responding to a statement from Hezbollah that criticized the Lebanese government's decision to task the army with developing an implementation plan for restricting weapons in its hands before the end of the year.
For its part, the Amal Movement, headed by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, considered that it would have been "more appropriate for the Lebanese government, which is hastening to make more free concessions to the Israeli enemy through new agreements, to focus its efforts on establishing a ceasefire first and putting an end to the Israeli killing machine."
It viewed that "tomorrow's session on Thursday represents an opportunity for correction and a return to Lebanese solidarity," indicating the possibility of ministers from both parties attending tomorrow's session.
The government announced yesterday, following a session described as "historic," that it tasked the army with developing a plan to restrict weapons in the hands of legitimate forces before the end of the current year, to be presented by the end of August.
