أنحت إيران باللائمة على الولايات المتحدة في تدمير المفاوضات النووية التي انطلقت قبل أشهر بين البلدين. وقال المساعد الأول للرئيس الإيراني محمد رضا عارف، خلال مؤتمر الدول الحبيسة النامية في تركمانستان، اليوم (الثلاثاء): «بعض الدول قدمت الدعم لإسرائيل في هجماتها على بلادنا، بدلاً من إدانة هذا العدوان». واتهم الولايات المتحدة بدعم إسرائيل وتدخّلها المباشر في الهجوم على المنشآت النووية الإيرانية السلمية.
ولفت عارف إلى أن واشنطن دمرت طاولة المفاوضات، في وقت كانت تُجرى فيه الترتيبات للجولة السادسة من المحادثات النووية بين البلدين، ما عزز مرة أخرى حالة انعدام الثقة العالمية في تعهدات الولايات المتحدة.
وكان مساعد وزير الخارجية الإيراني سعيد خطيب زاده، أعلن قبل أيام أن طهران لا تستعجل الدخول في أي نوع من التفاعل غير المباشر أو التفاوض مع واشنطن.
وعقدت إيران وأمريكا 5 جولات من المحادثات بوساطة سلطنة عُمان، لكن تم تعليق المفاوضات نتيجة الحرب التي اندلعت في شهر يونيو الماضي، واستمرت 12 يوماً بين إيران وإسرائيل، والتي شاركت فيها الولايات المتحدة عبر استهداف المنشآت النووية.
وتعقدت المحادثات نتيجة خلافات رئيسية، من أبرزها طلب واشنطن من طهران وقف تخصيب اليورانيوم محلياً بشكل تام، وهو ما رفضه الجانب الإيراني.
من جهة أخرى ، طلب قادة الحرس الثوري الإيراني من حركة طالبان الاطلاع على قائمة مسربة بأسماء أفغان ساعدوا بريطانيا ليتمكنوا من تعقب جواسيس جهاز الاستخبارات البريطاني (MI6). وكشفت صحيفة «التلغراف»، أن السلطات الإيرانية تأمل في دراسة قائمة تضم ما يقرب من 25 ألف أفغاني عملوا مع القوات البريطانية، في إطار سعيها لتعزيز نفوذها لدى الغرب قبل المفاوضات النووية هذا العام. وتحتوي «قائمة القتل» على أسماء أفغان تقدموا بطلبات لجوء، بمن فيهم جنود عملوا مع الجيش البريطاني، وعناصر استخبارات، وقوات خاصة. يذكر أنه جرى خلال الأيام الماضية ترحيل أفغاني، تردد أن اسمه مدرج في القائمة، من إيران إلى كابل. وأفصح مسؤول إيراني رفيع المستوى في طهران، أن الحرس الثوري طلب رسمياً من حكومة طالبان مشاركة القائمة المسربة. وقال إن الجانب الإيراني يبذل جهوداً للعثور على القائمة، وقد شُكِّلت لجنة خاصة بذلك. وأضاف أن مناقشات جرت حول التعاون بين طهران وكابل بهذا الشأن، لما فيه من فائدة للبلدين في المفاوضات مع الغرب. وأكد أن السلطات الإيرانية تريد مراقبة الحدود واحتجاز الأفغان في إيران الذين تظهر أسماؤهم في القائمة، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على أولئك الذين عملوا عملاء استخبارات.
Iran has blamed the United States for the destruction of nuclear negotiations that began months ago between the two countries. The Iranian President's Chief Assistant, Mohammad Reza Aref, said during the conference of landlocked developing countries in Turkmenistan today (Tuesday): "Some countries have supported Israel in its attacks on our country, instead of condemning this aggression." He accused the United States of supporting Israel and its direct intervention in the attack on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities.
Aref pointed out that Washington destroyed the negotiating table at a time when arrangements were being made for the sixth round of nuclear talks between the two countries, which once again reinforced global distrust in U.S. commitments.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh announced a few days ago that Tehran is not in a hurry to engage in any form of indirect interaction or negotiation with Washington.
Iran and the U.S. held five rounds of talks mediated by Oman, but the negotiations were suspended due to the war that broke out last June, which lasted 12 days between Iran and Israel, in which the United States participated by targeting nuclear facilities.
The talks became complicated due to major disagreements, the most prominent of which was Washington's demand that Tehran completely halt uranium enrichment domestically, which the Iranian side rejected.
On another note, leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard have requested that the Taliban review a leaked list of names of Afghans who assisted Britain in order to track down spies from the British intelligence agency (MI6). The "Telegraph" newspaper revealed that Iranian authorities hope to study a list containing nearly 25,000 Afghans who worked with British forces, as part of their efforts to enhance their influence in the West ahead of this year's nuclear negotiations. The "kill list" includes the names of Afghans who applied for asylum, including soldiers who worked with the British army, intelligence personnel, and special forces. It is noted that in recent days, an Afghan, whose name was reportedly on the list, was deported from Iran to Kabul. A senior Iranian official in Tehran disclosed that the Revolutionary Guard officially requested the Taliban government to share the leaked list. He stated that the Iranian side is making efforts to locate the list, and a special committee has been formed for this purpose. He added that discussions have taken place regarding cooperation between Tehran and Kabul in this matter, which would benefit both countries in negotiations with the West. He confirmed that Iranian authorities want to monitor the borders and detain Afghans in Iran whose names appear on the list, with a particular focus on those who worked as intelligence agents.
