نيابة عن وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، شارك مندوب المملكة الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك السفير الدكتور عبدالعزيز الواصل في اجتماع وزراء خارجية دول مجلس التعاون التنسيقي، على هامش المؤتمر الدولي لتنفيذ حل الدولتين الذي ترأسه المملكة بالشراكة مع الجمهورية الفرنسية، المنعقد في مقر الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك.
وجرى خلال الاجتماع، استعراض مستجدات الأوضاع على الأراضي الفلسطينية، والجهود المشتركة للدفع تجاه تنفيذ حل الدولتين بما يضمن أمن واستقرار المنطقة، ويعيد للشعب الفلسطيني حقوقه المشروعة بما فيها قيام الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة.
حضر الاجتماع، مدير عام مكتب وكيل الوزارة للشؤون الدولية المتعددة الدكتور محمد بن خالد الشهري.
On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, participated in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Coordinating Council of Gulf States, held on the sidelines of the international conference to implement the two-state solution, chaired by the Kingdom in partnership with the French Republic, taking place at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the Palestinian territories were reviewed, along with the joint efforts to push towards implementing the two-state solution in a way that ensures the security and stability of the region and restores to the Palestinian people their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Office of the Undersecretary for Multilateral International Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Shehri.
